So this is a VERY touchy subject but I am curious as to what are men's thoughts about it.

Pornography.

Statistics show that 70% of men from age 18-34 visit a pornographic site in a typical month.

10% of adults admit to having an Internet sexual addiction. 28% of that were women.

29% of born again adults in the US believe it is morally ACCEPTABLE to view movies with explicit sexual behavior.

57% of pastors say that addiction to pornography is the most sexually damaging issue to the congregation.

47% of families say that pornography is a problem in their home.

The internet was a significant factor in 2 out of 3 divorces.

Average age of first internet exposure to pornography:11 years old.

50% of Christian men in churches are addicted to pornography.

Curious as to men's thoughts on this since it is found more often to be men struggling with addictions to pornography opposed to women. Not to say that women can't be addicted because they can also before anyone jumps me on that. It is just more prevalent in men, men are more visual stimulated than females are.

dear folks, i think glory meant well.. and i also think she was hurt by reading someones preference.. and for that im sorry that she was hurt..

but ill tell yawl a little summin.. anytime you see someone that you might like and then you read in their profile that something about you is not a preference to them any time that happens it could hurt you if you let it.. but why let it? it wasnt wrote or told to you to hurt you or be personal to you about it.. they didnt even know you when they wrote it.. and us as christians ,with the love of JESUS flowing in our hearts.. should not try to hurt their feelins back by callin them names such as shallow or whatever.. but yet we should be happy for them that they know what they want and who and what will make them happy,, its their preference. and whether its looks, smokes, drinks, drugs, different denominations, tall ,short, age, different beliefs within the same denominations, ect ect ...whatever the preference we should be sayin MAY GOD BLESS YOU.. and i pray you will find what it is you seek.. it shouldnt hurt you because of someone elses preference.. if it does i believe it speaks to ones own insecurities within themselves.. and lets face it weve all got preferences.. so how can we complain about someone else havin preferences when we have our own.. im sure when we all wrote out our preferences we didnt do so with the intent of hurting others.. we all just want others to know what we like and want.. and what we dont want.. our preferences..

Thank you Cattle. I just want to say that I was not offended by men's posts. Nor am I insecure. The Lord thinks I am beautiful. I think I am beautiful. My future husband will think I'm beautiful. What I didn't say, is that I'm a 5'11'' blond with long legs, and have been referred to as a Barbie and "eye candy". I've had a man upon meeting me say, one of the first things out of his mouth, you are very beautiful. So people misread what I was saying, were blind to it, or didn't read it at all. I'm not upset about men seeking certain physical qualifications because I'm insecure. I wanted to draw attention to a problem. I don't believe it is a preference. I think it's a problem. Yes pornography is a sin. Putting too much emphasis on looks is not. What I wrote was for the defense of women and born out of irritation. I spoke for women and spoke well and will change things I believe.

P.S. myhopejeremiah, Just because something is done doesn't mean it's right. God's Word trumps facts.
