Guys if a girl in her profile says she is curvy/ curvaceous and only has head shots, do you think it`s impolite to ask for a full body shot before you meet her?

Curvy, curvaceous can have different meanings.

@cobbler:

You mean she's posted a photo of HER BRAIN?! Eeew, gross!

:laugh:

I'm sure her inner beauty equals or exceeds her outer beauty though!:hearts:

I agree with devoted and true. Yes aesthetics are what we see and are attracted to when we look at each other but if that is all it's based on and in getting to know each other we can't overcome our own thoughts on body shape it's best we all stick to ourselfves lol! I am not stick thin and I am subconcious sometimes about my body but thast's where God comes in. I think if we as a society were a little more accepting and less judgemental in these people may be a little braver in putting up full body shots.

Kjd, you dont have to be stick thin to get a guys attention. Too many women feel that because they arent skinny, they might as well give up and put on the weight. There is a lot of room between being skinny and being obese. What most men want is a woman who has a healthy weight and something that looks like an hourglass figure. Its when you start to be bigger in the middle that guys tend to look away.

Tulip,

for ie...5'9/5'10 I think is said to be the average height of men. This means, the majority of men are somewhere around that height. If someone is taller than that, let's say 6 feet, 6'4, they would be considered tall, or at least taller than AVERAGE.

Average height for a woman is I think 5'4, maybe 5'5. A woman taller than that would be considered taller than AVERAGE. High fashion models for example are very slender and taller than AVERAGE, usually 5'8 or better.

It really has nothing to do with waist to hip ratio. It's an individual thing. Two ppl can be the same weight and still carry it differently. Curvy equates to curves. Curves are thighs, hips, bottoms and "cleave." Not stomach, etc.

Simply put, if lined up in a crowd your curves stand out, you're probably curvaceous. If you get comments/compliments or generate interest because of your curves, whether negative or positive, you're probably curvy. If other women can't help but cut their eyes at your chest while talking, you're probably curvaceous. If they look at your backside when you get up/walk around, etc., you're probably curvaceous.

I hope that sums it up!

You still haven't really defined curvy. From what I can gather, you'll just know it when you see it.

I disagree. I did sum it up. You just don't want to believe what I'm sayin!
