Who was the most famous person you have ever met?Posted : 13 Dec, 2010 03:57 AMFor me it was George Bush, Sr. It was many years ago when he just finished his term and was settling down in Houston. It was a Memorial Park, a park where everyone runs. I was at the stretching area when everyone looks up and he jogged by. I started running and caught up with him, saying hello and gave him a compliment on how he handled the Desert Storm operation and welcomed him to Houston. He said thanks. I didn't want to look like a stalker so I ran on ahead. There was a secret service agent running a few feet behind him. |

Who was the most famous person you have ever met?Posted : 13 Dec, 2010 05:13 PMI met some of the Harlem Globetrotters, but I don't know any of their names. In high school I met Stereo Deluxx, an old Christian band, but I don't know if anyone knows who they are anymore. I also met the bands Quiet Riot and Go Fish. In college I met John Rueben and I was so excited about it... until no one cared. This past summer I met Michelle Aguilar, the winner of Biggest Loser 2006, and I almost met Natalie Grant but the volunteers watching the line (who weren't doing their job) were a little rude. |

Who was the most famous person you have ever met?Posted : 13 Dec, 2010 09:46 PMIf you aren't from the South, these won't make any sense, but I delivered medicine for some pharmacies in Athens and ended up delivering to both Larry Munson and Vince Dooley in one day. Considering that the medicine I was delivering likely kept them alive, I think I did more for the "bulldawg nation" that the vast majority of U(sic)GA fans will ever do. |
