Who was the most famous person you have ever met?

For me it was George Bush, Sr. It was many years ago when he just finished his term and was settling down in Houston. It was a Memorial Park, a park where everyone runs. I was at the stretching area when everyone looks up and he jogged by. I started running and caught up with him, saying hello and gave him a compliment on how he handled the Desert Storm operation and welcomed him to Houston. He said thanks. I didn't want to look like a stalker so I ran on ahead. There was a secret service agent running a few feet behind him.

The second one was Clay Walker. He was filming his "This woman and this man" video at the building I used to work at. Just briefly said hello with a few of my co-workers when he walked by. Well, he's not as famous, but hotter!

I met some of the Harlem Globetrotters, but I don't know any of their names. In high school I met Stereo Deluxx, an old Christian band, but I don't know if anyone knows who they are anymore. I also met the bands Quiet Riot and Go Fish. In college I met John Rueben and I was so excited about it... until no one cared. This past summer I met Michelle Aguilar, the winner of Biggest Loser 2006, and I almost met Natalie Grant but the volunteers watching the line (who weren't doing their job) were a little rude.

I interviewed Magic Johnson (basketball player) while I was working as a student journalist in high school.

Rich Mullins (in passing-I backed into one of the band members' cars). Thankfully no damage was done, and they were very understanding. :)

I actually have another one, although they get less significant as I go along.

I was walking into a restaurant in Houston to get some gift cards, and guess who was walking out at the same time?

Hakeem Olagawahan! Man that dude is tall!

I loved Rich Mullin's ministry! How cool to meet a real man of God.

I live in a small tourist town and have never met anyone famous but I did talk to and get a hug from a real hero( imho) Dave Roever, (Vietnam survivor) if any of you know him or his story?

I got to sing with Natalie Grant in the church choir.... before she went out on her own.

I also met Lois McMaster Bujold in person. She's an author.

If you aren't from the South, these won't make any sense, but I delivered medicine for some pharmacies in Athens and ended up delivering to both Larry Munson and Vince Dooley in one day. Considering that the medicine I was delivering likely kept them alive, I think I did more for the "bulldawg nation" that the vast majority of U(sic)GA fans will ever do.
