How many years is too much? Is it a recipe for disaster? Not sure how I feel about it and would like to hear from the guys.

Thanks!

@ Barefootguytolove~~very thoughtful answer and yes, I have to agree that having Christ at the center of any relationship makes all the difference. With God all things are possible.

Thanks for responding!

I'd rather be with someone in my own age group. Not interested in a younger or older woman. Maybe five years difference older or younger. :bouncy:

Well, my age range is "any age," but that is so anyone and everyone can message me if they want to talk to me or feel the need to "set me straight."

In all seriousness, though, I wouldn't date someone older than 28 or younger than 18. I'm 23, by the way, so an age difference of 5 years is enough.

It makes sense. What's rare becomes valuable, and what's in abundance is less valuable. When guys get older, younger women come along more rarely, which makes them more valuable. Women would likely do the same thing, but society has kind of conditioned them against it.

In all Honesty I think that

men have to "fess" up and admit that they would prefer a Younger woman just because "everything is still Under Warranty"...while I believe that a woman is more mature and her values are deeper than the skin deep (exterior).

Why can't you just say

Betty,

Blah blah blah. why does it have to be

@Betty? Who started that?

Why don't we start using

~Dude,

Blah blah blah

Seems like we get more and more pretentious for some reason.

@ Archimedes~~ Yes! I agree. If a younger woman is a man's preference, he should state that clearly. And the same goes for a woman.

I'm trying very hard not to put God in a box by depending on my "preferences" but I know that I'm more likely to find a gentleman who is a few years my junior a bit more interesting. Doesn't mean I'm going to automatically discount any gentleman who is my age or a few years my senior. Mostly, I need to know what kind of relationship they have with the Father and how they are at communication with me. And I've finally figured out that whoever the man is that he must be as interested in me as I am in him....maybe even more so. :^/

Blessings!

@ Archimedes~~ Darn, I had my answer all typed out and worded just right when it all disappeared! :goofball:

Anyway....I agree. Men and women should just say what they prefer and perhaps there would be less confusion.

Younger women still "under warrenty"??? HA! Not really. Some older people are WAY more vital and interesting than younger ones. I'm speaking in very general terms here. And I fully admit to finding men a few years my junior attractive. But I'm really trying hard to not put God in a box and going by my preferences first and foremost! If God has someone older for me I will still be very open to that.

Let's all leave the pretentions behind and just be ourselves....the person God put here.
