@savedbygrace3
I can give you mho on why many of the thread topics are about sex.
First, it can be to grab attention...and that it certainly does. :rolleyes: :laugh:
Second, and more importantly, is that many Christians...and some that are not or on the edge...are genuinely curious and inquiring about God's view of sex and the place of sex in the Christian lifestyle. Let's look at your question, "Has society, via media of all forms, impressed upon the hearts and minds of ppl (especially Christians with in CDFF) so much as there is very little to nothing left in your hearts/minds or desire to talk about?"
I would say yes...culture, via media, has impressed on the hearts and minds of people, including believers, the role of sex in their lives. Is it a realistic, true impression...no...but it seems to be the only one open to them. Question...what has the church taught, without judgment, to countermand this view and give the Godly, realistic place of sex in the life of a believer? Or, is the subject taboo, with the 'thou shall nots' taking front and center with no further explanation or discussion? What do Christians do with their feelings, their thoughts, their questions?
Sex is a very powerful drive. God has placed limits on it because of it's power over us. As such we need to show wisdom in its use and discussion. But, there is nothing inherently wrong about it...it is a gift/blessing from God. Ideally, a Christian would have someone within their fellowship with whom they could openly have these discussions. But, that isn't often available. It is impractical to think that every time one has a question they can discuss it with a professional.
You have a forum here of people from a variety of cultures, of different ages, at different stages in their Christian walks, with different doctrines and understandings. Its purpose is to discuss the Christian walk across the board. Sex is a part of that. It is a wonderful opportunity to present the Christian perspective and reach out to fellow believers and non believers alike.

So basically you were going after Twosparrows for two threads, and instead of taking it up with him privately, you decided to take it up with the whole forum, but not mention him specifically? That seems rather passive aggressive and not very Christlike.

@saved
You did not inform me of your grievances in private before your public posting.
There is that better?
Actually it makes it worse; since we did talk in private as friends previously giving you every opprotunity to express your grievances. You were always very cordial, which is why your public post surprised me.
Again peace to you
Btw , I don't know the proper etiquette for this; am I now suppose to block you also?
