Being encouraging of our relationship one day and discouraging the next. In other words: being "wishy-washy"; certain, then uncertain, not making up her mind and knowing her heart about the relationship we've started and sticking to building a meaningful relationship that grows and lasts, confusing both of us in the process. Another one is reading my e-mails and responding initially, then reading other e-mails and not responding right away after she's read them or at all; I try to respond right away after a gal sends me an e-mail, out of courtesy and in Christian love ... I don't get this reading and responding for a while then reading and suddenly not responding ... what did I write that elicited no response suddenly? Steve Post Reply

You don't need to just talk about the weather, but be careful you don't give away your whole heart too quickly just to feel loved or needed. Post Reply

It's true that there are some active choices there, but it would be painful to stop the natural flow of something... And I'm not sure how to talk to a guy that I REALLY like without giving my heart away. It really just happens. RE: chemistry I know that people have different definitions of it, but for me, the word is fairly interchangeable with "attraction." Just because someone and I match up well on paper doesn't mean that there is any attraction there or any level of pleasure from being around them or talking to them. Post Reply
