Okay... I'm stepping cautiously here... These are just my

thoughts... No one needs to agree with me...

BJMP and River ... I 100% Agree With You!!!

A "man" that would ooogule at a woman that could be his

daughters age is very disturbing indeed!

A "man" that actually pursues a woman that could be his daughters

age is sick, and has me think he has the makings of a ped o phile!

Again... These are my thoughts on this threads topic... No one has to agree

with me.

I think there is a Major disconnect that a "man" can not be attracted

to or pursue a woman close to his own age. Something is just wrong

when say a "man" in his 30's 40's or 50's can't develop a relationship

with a woman 5-10 years older/younger depending on the maturity of

both the "man" and "woman."

Just to reiterate... These are just My thoughts regarding this threads topic

question.

God's blessings,

I agree that guys shouldn't be dating women that are young enough to be their daughter's age. Sure women that age can be "very mature", but they still lack a lot of experince that an older man can take advantage of.

Our church only has a younger singles group, but many people try to push me to join it since its the only single group we have. To me it just seems a little weird to be hanging out with women half my age. It got even weirder when my nice joined the group.

No Way!!!

We all know this to be true but I will say it anyway before I go get some ICE CREAM !!! :-)

Women are : emotional, encouraging, supportative, plan ahead, lovy dovy, loyal and emotionally giving.

Men are: focused on the outer appearance, more detached, black & white, blondes/legs matter more.

Sooo.........this being the way things are, women will look for older men who they think will be more Mature and in touch with their feelings/emotional side.

Men want attractive, good looking women that will stay that way long enough to last before the man goes to the rest home. heeee..... heee..... haaa....haaa.... :-)

Its crazy but true and,,, ICE CREAM is calling meeee.....!! :-) :-) :-)

Maybe the guy is looking for somebody who will be strong enough to turn him over for a diaper change when he is 100 and she is 30?

Well, I know many women that are focused on very shallow things and destroy their relationships because their man doesn't turn into the guy they try to force them to be, and I know a lot of very nice men that do not focus on the outward and are very loving and giving. I think it depends more on "what kind of parents raised the child" or "who they are", instead of "what gender they are".

What about when young "ladies" hit on older guys? I'm talking much older.

I have a little experience with this; sorta ironic in a way. When I was in high school, (almost 30 years ago:excited:) I couldn't get a girl to even look my way. Now here I am, almost 48, going back to college, and I have young 18-25 year old "ladies" giving me their phone numbers, e-mail address, etc. all the time. At first I thought somebody was setting me up; I mean I know I'm far from being "tall, dark, and handsome," but seems every week for the first couple semesters I'd find slips of paper in my back pack, on my windshied, my lab station, with phone numbers or "party" invitations. (Not the kind of partying we did back in the day, but part-ee--"let's hook up Mr. C") Rather than find it flattering, I was quite taken back. When I look at these young ladies, though they may be rather attractive, I don't see "babes," I see someone's daughter, or grand-daughter. These girls are all young enough to be my own. I have a son older than some of these youngsters and to me, it just wouldn't seem right. I sure wouldn't feel comfortable around her father for sure. I know I wouldn't feel comfortable if I knew my son was dating someone my age. She wouldn't be a cougar, she'd be a panther.

Maybe it isn't always for money. Maybe some of them prefer the older companionship, or they're looking for a father figure. (Could be they wanted some free tutoring-lol) I'm sure Sigmund Freud had a term for it, it just escapes me right now.

I guess it just depends on how you was raised, maybe a culturall thing. I'm still trying to figure it out.

There's gotta be a way you can turn that into some free baked goods. Then again, I've heard that non-college students tend to have priorities that don't revolve around food, so maybe that's not your thing. Haha
