Why do many guys' eyes travel immediately to the chest area rather than a girl's face? Is there something that women can do to help guys focus on our faces rather than our bodies?

I really don't understand why most men are so obsessed with women's chests. It's really embarrassing for us girls! Or, at least for me! It makes me ashamed of my body, so I really wish that guys would just stop.

Pixy, not all guys are creepers. Some know how to treat a lady like you. Also, consider your height, when a taller guy looks at you is he tring to look at your face. You are about 5 inches shorter than me.When a guy looks down on a short lady it is misunderstood by her, Maybe????????? I am 5Ft. 6in. I am just saing maybe you sometimes see what is not there.

as for the post before mine, Not all guys stare at a womans body.

Just creepers!!!!!!!! Some of us guys do have morals. :prayingm: :peace:

It is important to treat a lady right and practice self control. :excited:

SOS I disagree with you that Jesus can't change a man in his lustful ways, I am one. If you knew mw and my past you would be surprised.

It is naturaks for a man to be attracted to a female, there is responsibility on both sides.

I would say 99% of all men deal with lust wether saved or not, our culture dosen't help at all, an neither do a majority of women, the said majority make it all to easy.

Apart from Christ there is no good in us.

Pixy,

I'll have to agree with the majority on here and say that although there are a lot of guys out there that do stare--whether they be jerks, pervs, they do it subconsciously, or just lack the maturity, there are more guys that know better and do not committ this vile and demoralizing offense. A Christian gentleman will not purposely committ any action that will cause embarrassment or offense.

Contrary to popular belief, most guys don't stare. A lot of this depends on location and culture though. I know down south here in the holla's there are some real "winners" that think it's a compliment to ogle or make suggestive and juvenile comments to a lady regarding her body. But, not everyone in the South are characters from "Deliverance." Most of us are nice, educated, Christian men who just consider it a priviledge to be in the presence of a Chistian lady such as yourself and would never do or say anything to cause offense.

What really annoys me is that some men on this thread are suggesting that women should cover it more, in order not to be stared at.

Rubbish of the first degree!

I have been carrying my XXG chest parts for more than 40 years now. Covered, closed or locked.... it is clear to me that only chopping them off would actually stop the staring... at least the lusty part of it.

Throughout these years, I have figured something out that I am going to share with you fine, chest-staring guys:

You look with your lusty eyes, because that is - given your filthy character - the only thing you get (for free).

Now do not be upset! I know you think staring at a womens brea..s is quite normal, natural and even healthy and I am not at all offended nor intimidated by you bold dudes that are obviously still wet behind the ears.... But please, do not tell me that I should cover it more (like I am the one to blame) because I just do not buy that thrid class, self flattering nonsense.

Ooh I forgot something very important. There are indeed a lot of gentlemen. Actually you will find them here on this thread... I have been so busy staring at the wrong guys, that I overlooked the good guys:ROFL::ROFL:

So to the knights and gents of this thread:

@SOS- I see what you mean, but I think that all things are possible with God. He is absolutely able to change people, but we need to be submissive to Him. And I'm convinced that chopping my "parts" off too would be the only way to stop the staring!!!

@rmb- I'm kinda tired of people telling me to not wear anything low cut. I don't do this, so I really don't think that's the problem and I really don't like the problem being blamed on me. I'm already covering up and I don't wear tops that are form fitting. I'm open to suggestions on how to prevent it from happening, but I don't think I can dress any modestly than what I do now. I'm not going to wear turtlenecks in the summer.

@Rabbit-

Yeah, maybe. But it might be more embarrassing to call attention to it.
