I have noticed that almost all men who are interested in a relationship are not interested in anyone in their own age range. However, these same men are fine with dating women 15 or more years their junior. If you are 50, or 40, or 30 then why do you only want to date women at your age range or younger? I guess I'm really very curious because women will allow for relationships with older men, but I haven't seen any men with older women. Please enlighten me. C Post Reply

I'm a Christian.. what matters most is the inner person and the beauty that is there.. but I would be lying if I said looks doesn't count.. looks does count and so does chemistry (something that still works fine for me).. I believe God made men and women attractive to each other for a reason.. Sometimes I believe He makes a CERTAIN person attracted to another to bring them together.. Anyway .. I don't think I would be attracted to someone who thinks that's shallow. lol Gordon Post Reply

The chemistry and looks were there mutually, Boys will be boys, however and I know he loved it when people would comment about his 'young' wife and I felt secure in my marriage. It is all relative to what one is looking for. My advice is be honest and don't trust "feelings", but trust God's discernment in dating an older/younger person. Remember, the heart of the person and their identity in Christ are what makes them beautiful! Looks are important but looks can be temporary and are you able to love one unconditionally when the rubber meets the road. Post Reply

Posted : 18 Jan, 2010 03:23 PM I dont know but younger guyz want me , 10-8- or less years younger maybe its what they say that in everyone theres someone for you , its not always the case in men there are also cases in women But above all Love is all that matters not age...as long as you accept and love each other...:peace: Post Reply

Posted : 18 Jan, 2010 03:31 PM Intelligence, Integrity, Self-worth, Self-assuredness, Social graces, Beauty-these are all traits that I attribute to older women. I'll admit I'm not perfect and been looking for "girls" in all the wrong places, but I hate my generation, and too many of my girlfriends say I remind them of their father. Creepy stuff!!!! But you hear it enough times, and you start to realize that most girls my age want a "hipper" kind of guy. I'm old school in the way I treat people, and how I carry myself as well. And I guess I'm just looking for a WOMAN that appreciates a hard-working man who may not be able to give her the world, but can give her a love deeper than most on this earth. And if I have to look to a woman that's a few years older than me, so be it. Like I said, I'm old school. Post Reply

Posted : 23 Jan, 2010 06:50 AM Thanks Devoted, You covered some points that are very important for me.. maybe the core of what I was thinking and meant to say.. I am so thankful to God for my health but taking care of one's temple takes commitment similar to a marriage relationship and is a part of one's personality. One should be willing to devote the same care for one's mate in making the right choices with sacrifice and dedication, persevering to see the results and to enjoy the fruits of their efforts ..glad I came back to this topic God bless you Post Reply

It's hard to find a single mom who is spirtually mature, and/or with well behaved children, yes I belive mine our :). Yet I remain hopeful. I say that because in my age range and higher there are alot of single moms. Also I dont believe I am prepared to raise teens. So that influences me to aim lower, but i dont want to go to low, because lack of maturity is irritating. Post Reply

I have been celibate for the past 35 years. Now, my life and desires have changed. I want to marry and have a really good sex life with my husband with lots of passion. I listed my age requirement as very broad. I am looking for my mate.... not an age number. I am open to whomever God brings into my life. I hope this answers a part of someones questions about "cougars" which I have been called. I find it rude and inappropriate. For me, I am simply seeking God's best for me and want to be the best I can for "my man" whatever his age may be. Whoever and wherever he may be. Post Reply
