I'm kinda new here, so I'd appreciate a little help as I'm not sure about the social etiquette around here... What do guys expect from sending a wink? I mean, am I supposed to wink back? We don't agree with, endorse, condone or otherwise the sins of others, but we do know "there, but for the grace of God, go I". I don't recall Jesus calling Zacchaeus or the woman caught in adultery swine and scum, even if the pharisees thought they were! Y'see the difference? Jesus associated with sinners, but He didn't endorse them; the pharisees wouldn't go near them, yet their "righteousness" couldn't save them... Maybe it's just me, but I know what God saved me from, and the daily struggle I have with sin, so I can only echo Paul when he wrote that he was "the chief of sinners". On that basis I call no-one what I won't call myself. Post Reply
