Will someone google "pixy" for me today and post the definition? My niece watches Tinkerbelle and keeps telling me she's a pixy. I thought she was a fairy. Is there a difference? Lol ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'll check you guys out after work.

Here's what I came up with Chevy:

pixie/ˈpiksē/

Noun: A supernatural being in folklore and children's stories, typically portrayed as small and humanlike in form, with pointed ears and a pointed hat, and mischievous in character.

(Ask.com)

Pixie

noun

1. a fairy or sprite, especially a mischievous one.

2. a small, pert, or mischievous person.

adjective

3. Also, pixieish, pixyish. playfully impish or mischievous; prankish: pixie mood; a pixie sense of humor.

Origin:

162030; orig. dial. (SW England) pixy, pigsy, pisky;

If a Pixy has ears that are pointed does that mean they are related to Spock?
