Posted : 22 May, 2011 12:36 PM Wow NKatty, "As my brothers go to hunt for antelops...i wil go an gather fruits...we are a huntin an gatherin lot...Lolest....do u have cows?....ehh!....no parent can accept horses for brideprice/dowry...its a requirement...plus....can u easily climb trees?....live in caves...eat raw meat an blood?....ehh???lol" I've done all those things! ;) I've hunted antelope, deer, wild pigs, birds, badgers, coyotes, foxes, skunks, ring-tail cats, racoons, squirrels, iguanas, tarantulas, scorpions, gila monsters, caught hundreds of snakes and fish, I've gathered wild fruits, nuts, greens, had 850 head of cattle on my family's ranch, had horses, have lived in the mountains and desert, and even though I'll no longer do it anymore - I've eaten raw venison and fish plenty of times...you name it, I've probably captured or hunted it if it lives in the southwest. Maybe I'd be better off in Africa :/ Post Reply

But I was taking medication to keep myself immune from malaria. I've been bitten by snakes as well, but not by any venomous snakes. I've collected hundreds of live rattlesnakes for hobby, for universities and for zoos, and I used to give lectures on wildlife for schools in Arizona. I've gathered fruits, tubers and greens and hunted, fished and captured animals in Arizona, California, Mexico and Guatemala. I've also been stung by a scorpion :'( :winksmile: Post Reply
