Guys... curvy/ curvaceousPosted : 1 May, 2011 05:38 PMGuys if a girl in her profile says she is curvy/ curvaceous and only has head shots, do you think it`s impolite to ask for a full body shot before you meet her? |

Guys... curvy/ curvaceousPosted : 3 May, 2011 06:05 AMAll of the terms that are used in the profile are subjective. Like Tulip said, what is an average woman? From looking at profiles on this site, it all depends on where you live. If you are in California or Florida, the average seems to be a woman who has a healthy weight and a traditional hourglass figure. If you live in the Midwest, the average seems to be slightly overweight and out of shape. If you live in the Philippines average is someone who is slender. The only way to come up with a standard is to pull out the measuring tape, but I doubt women would appreciate that. Much easier to just post a full body picture. |

Guys... curvy/ curvaceousPosted : 3 May, 2011 06:21 AMWell I for one will tell the guy straight up how much I weigh. I want a guy to take me for me, not how much I weigh. I have been the skinny barbie doll (before I got into an abusive marriage). To tell the truth I love my personality alot better then when I was the skinny barbie doll. Flaws and imprefections make people nicer. If Ireally wanted to lose the weight I could. But I view it as a protection thing. Every "hot" guy I have ever dated etc, always abused me. I really don't want to be attractive to them. Yes I am not as healthy as I want to be. But one day I will get back to that. I would rather settle down with a guy when I am overweight. He loves my body at any weight. And then I surprise him and lose weight. |

Guys... curvy/ curvaceousPosted : 3 May, 2011 08:13 AMWell, I'm one of those girls who put that I have an "average" body type. I guess I would qualify for the "few extra pounds", "curvy/curvaceous", or even the "well proportioned" category, though. I have an hour-glass figure with plenty of curves, but it's a little larger than some girls' because I'm still working on losing weight. I don't think I look especially fat, and my weight doesn't keep me from doing anything I want to; at the same time, though, I'm not slender or thin...and even though I do most of my shopping in the petite section (except for petite pants, which are too short!), I don't think most people would describe me as petite. |

Guys... curvy/ curvaceousPosted : 3 May, 2011 08:24 AMI would stick with average. Curvy would probably apply as well, but some men consider curvy as another way to say they have a few extra pounds. Very subjective. |
