Every woman that shows interest in me soon loses interest and with no explanation. If I lived in the Phillipines I'd have more women than I'd know what to do with!! LOL :ROFL: Godslamb, I can't speak for any other men but I find that many women our age are not very interested in us either or they do whatever they can to make themselves as unattractive as possible by laying out all their negative baggage in their profiles or they post some very bad pics. "If I lived in the Phillipines I'd have more women than I'd know what to do with!! LOL " No joke, I made this same comment to a friend the other day. I could get 20 views and all of them being foreign and most of them being from the Philippines Seriously though, I've learned much while being here, I've made many great friends on this site through either chat or email. Some I've met in person some I may never meet. Some have come and gone. I've learned that Testify doesn't talk in chat but is a real person and has talked before, it has become one of my goals to get him to talk. I have learned what to share in chat and what not to. I've learned more about myself, and what I am looking for. I joined this site mainly to make friends and be open to it being a possible avenue for God to bring someone into my life. Being on here has helped me more define what I am looking for. I joined this site after several years of being single by choice to focus on having my house in order spiritually, emotionally, etc. I've seen a broad range of personalities, experiences, life lessons, experienced brotherly/sisterly love by people I've never met, have been encouraged, have had opportunity to encourage. Fellowship doesn't only exist in our local church it exists in God's people all across this planet. Joining this site has given me to get to know fellow believers from places I have never been, and may never go to. It's given me a better sense of how amazing it will be when Christ returns and all God's children will be together from ever nation, tribe, and tongue. People we've known who have gone before us, those we've never met, and those we've only read about. Not a single believer will be missing on that day. Post Reply

Thing is -- at my age if you say you don't have baggage then you are a liar. Of course I have baggage. But for me personally mine is small enough to fit under the seat in front of me, and I don't empty it out and show it to everyone I meet. I know not everyone is like that. I've met both men and women who are not. It it is not the fact of baggage or no baggage (because after all even a 20-something can have baggage) -- it is what you DO with the baggage that matters. LOL - ok I'll get off my soapbox now. Anyway -- I have met a lot of nice people here, the number of which outweighs the not-nice people, so I stick around. Post Reply
