Posted : 21 Apr, 2011 09:34 PM i'm kinda new to this whole forum thing but i have a couple questions. please don't take any of what i say the wrong way cause i really am nice girl..i'm just a little frustrated. first question..what does a girl have to do to make her profile catch a guys attention? other than put flashing lights that say look at me look at me lol i feel like mine is a little long. feel free to check it out and let me know lol second question..where in the world have all the real men of God gone? i know they have to be somewhere..hiding under a rock or in my own made up world. either way, i have never met so many shallow guys on here. i've read so many times on various profiles that you want something different. have you ever heard the saying, you have to do something different in order to get something different? maybe you should stop looking on outer appearances. yes, i know that there has to be an attraction but beauty fades fellas. i know that i am not no model material but i do know i have a lot to offer as do many of the other women here that may be overlooked. in no way am i trying to be mean or put any of you down. cause if you knew the potential that each and everyone of you had..i'm just trying to get you to open your eyes and step out of the boat. get out of your comfort zone cause you never know what may happen. (trust me, i'm preaching to the choir) i'll get off my soap box but please know that my little rant was out of love.. everyone reading this does have someone out there that God created for us and us for them. and in His DUE time, it'll happen:) Post Reply

Posted : 22 Apr, 2011 12:52 PM cobbler: you're right, you don't know me. i don't sit around and let food consume my life. i'm very active and i rarely eat junk food. i do make healthy decisions. you or anyone else do not have the right to assume why anyone is overweight. yes, there are some, probably more than the other, that let food control them. but, then there are others that have medical issues or just struggle with their weight. you are the one who brought up my weight in the first place, not me. all i said on my post was that i wasn't model material. meaning that i may not be as pretty as them. in case you didn't know, there are plus size models out there. and when i asked where all the true men of God were, i meant in all aspects of life. i know that everyone has different opinions and likes/dislikes. i'm confident in who i am. and i know that when the time is right, i will make an amazing wife and will do all i can to please my husband. chevy rocks: thank you:) and yes shallowness comes in all forms. i know that when the time is right, God will give me the desires of my heart. msmarvel: it was a little harsh-but it's okay, i've been through way worse lol but thank you and know that God has someone out there for you too that loves you for who you are!! I don't think she's looking for a man with an amazingly good looking physical appearance, I could understand your frustration if she came on here asking if there were any extremely good looking Christian men with no flaws, but she just wants someone to see her inner beauty and someone who loves the Lord.
