Posted : 21 Apr, 2011 12:37 PM I have a collection of 60's, 70's & 80's tv sitcom dvds Old skool karate movies (Just got Five Deadly Venoms) I was given a collection of ceramic black people in different poses (It was given as a gift when I left Germany, so I can't add to the collection :-( What do you all collect? I don't wear T shirts too often, so whenever I go on a trip somewhere, I try to look for those machines that smash a penny and put some local logo or emblem on it. I have big book containing smashed pennies from all over the US and Canada. Couldn't find any of those machines in Mexico or Great Brittian. I wonder Why?:laugh: Post Reply

Posted : 21 Apr, 2011 10:32 PM @ Steve, When I was about 5 or 6 in the mid to late 60's, my dad worked a little while at a paper mill and would bring me big stacks of Marvel and DC comics all the time that were destined for scrap. Mostly Spiderman, Superman, Batman, The Archies, etc. I imagine some of them would be worth a little money now if my mom would have let me hold on to them! Post Reply

Nothing like coming back from working late which completely wiped out any possibility of having anything to do for the rest of the night for the billionth time so you open the fridge and sitting there is a nice cold beer specially crafted, almost like it was made with love, at a small time brewery waiting to watch Star Trek or the Food channel with you. I want to sell the rest. Just no room and I need the money. I also collect dvds. I love movies. And I collect books. I like really deep books, like true life books about peoples struggles, etc, christian books, self help books, whatever. You never know when you might meet someone that could use one of those books. I used to really be into vampire books like really really bad. But God put on my heart to stop reading them. I don't know if it's just for now, or what. But yea. Post Reply

Then collected music of the 50's-60's, on cassette tapes. Also collected Barbie dolls. Now I collect nothing. I need to clean house..haha Post Reply
