I don't see anything in the bible that specifically addresses it one way or the other. I'll be honest and say I used to kiss while dating, but I don't think I can now, even if I wanted to. That said, ALL of us should be VERY careful and respectful of whomever we may date or court. None of us should do anything "to" anyone that we think their future spouse would be uncomfortable with - that would include intimate conversation as well. Seconding this, would be our own conscious - meaning that we should love our neighbors as ourselves / treat others how we ourselves would hope to be treated. If you're dating or courting someone, treat them in the same way that you'd hope someone else would treat your future spouse. When we're courting someone, that someone should be experiencing Christ within us, not us :winksmile: 1st Corinthians 13.... true Love (meaning Christ within us), will not be self seeking.... The short answer for me personally is yes, I would kiss before marriage. I wouldn't take kissing lightly, though. In fact, I would really prefer to be engaged to the guy I'm kissing...I have no intentions of kissing anyone other than the man I plan to marry. And deep, passionate kissing would definitely need to wait until after the wedding ceremony! Post Reply

There's nothing wrong with kissing someone that you're going to marry.if you are doing in mind of course.In todays worldly veiw of kissing,they're only doing that as an introduction for sex.If one of the people in the relationship wants to wait,then it's best to wait! Most of the time,when it comes to that,it's two things-either the person has been raised up or have been teached that it's wrong,or the person is a little bit weak when it comes to that. Post Reply

The NT instructs us to great each other with a holy kiss. 2 Corinthians 13:12, Romans 16:16 And thats just for the followers of Jesus to share with other followers of Jesus. Can you kiss someone in a holy manner?(set apart, differently then how the lost world would) or Does this kiss inflame the passions of the flesh? French Kissing leads to other forms of physical contact. All in all, a very dangerous road to tread. How about Kissing in puberty, when your hormones are driving you crazy?
