View Profile History	confused and searching Posted : 27 Mar, 2011 05:45 PM I need to clarify what it is I meant above, since I forgot to earlier... :rolleyes: If you read the Bible passage I quoted, I didn't mean that we have to put sackcloth on and fast as Jehoshaphat did. What my point was is that God wants us to turn to Him wholeheartedly. As with Jehoshaphat, God isn't interested in us thinking up a better strategy or plan for whatever it is we're facing - in your case, desiring a spouse. Instead, He is interested in our complete reliance upon Him and HIS plan. And He is interested in us loving Him with all of our heart, soul and strength....the same way that we are hoping to be loved by someone else :) God is wanting us to treat Him, love Him and desire Him in the same way that we would hope to be loved and desired by another :winksmile: Max Post Reply
