Lack of info about themselves in their "About Me" section, making it difficult to start a conversation with them. Saying they are looking for a specific type of guy, such as an athletic or handsome guy (and having this appear in their profile AFTER I had exchanged a message or two with them). There's other stuff, but I don't want to sound too nit-picky. Post Reply

Posted : 13 Feb, 2011 09:07 AM Trying to look artsy or sexy in their pictures but just coming off looking sad and depressed. Smile a little! Having something at the beginning of their profile about how no one can be summed up in just one paragraph or how they're too interesting to be explained in a box. You're not supposed to tell us everything about yourself, but we'd like to at least know a LITTLE about you. Is it really that hard? Telling me in the first couple sentences of your profile that I'm sinning for reading translations other than the KJV Filling their profile with cliches and empty phrases. Do you really think there are people out there who DON'T like to laugh? I mean, seriously. Post Reply

Posted : 15 Feb, 2011 03:29 PM I'm not looking right now, but if I was: * Them marking that they drink socially (because I have no interest in marrying a regular drinker). * Seductive looking profile pics (intended cleavage shots, the fake sexy pout face, bra and miniskirt pics) * Being a smoker * Acting super-churchy (I love Jesus every other sentence. Obsessed with obedience to God and trying to be perfect [even though Jesus already walked the walk that declared us holy].) * Having an incredibly long list of what they want in a man, especially when it looks like they are looking for perfection. No man is perfect, just like no woman is perfect. * No pic or no profile information. If all a woman does is leave a little emoticon for her "info," I have no interest in getting to know her. If she doesn't think it's worth it to put forth the effort to try to find generally the category of guy she wants, then that tells me she either isn't that interested or isn't confident in herself. Either way, blank profiles get little interest. Post Reply

(For example is all they have is an orange picture, then I don't really know what you look like. You don't look like that in real life.) I wouldn't mind if they had more than just that one. * Interests go a long way too. Post Reply
