I was curious on how to deal with a sister-in-Christ, who is dressing immodestly.

Not so much confronting her, but there are times when a man could be blindsided at work, church, school or wherever, by a fellow sister-in-Christ's cleavage, or any other form of immodesty. My first reaction is to get that part of her body out of my visual range so I don't sin. If she is a friend or acquaintance, it may look odd if she approached me, to talk, or say hi, and run for the hills or use my hand to block part of her from view. To be honest i don't know what to do when more than not looking is required.

Cobbler is right. Men should not talk to women about this. Find a lady older (or same age) as her and have them speak to her.

Rabbit said: I think God's Jude hit more on what I was getting at. It's not that I want to confront her, I just want to exit with grace and in truth. spackle...some churches i'ld need a bucket. I'm not looking to correct anyone, just maintain my purity especially if she is a friend, in a non offensive manner.

One lady at work would always wear low cut tops, and a couple of times when I've talked with her, I purposely would not look at her while talking to her (would look at the side, or way down or something). She asked what was wrong, and I said "I can't look right at you, or my eyes will go right to your to your chest" - which could have been taken for a great gag if there were any guys around. She seemed embarrassed, apologized and tried lifting her top when I'd come around.

Is it wrong for men to say it loud directly to the woman? Yeah the woman would be embarrassed, but what can you do? I mean, it's all written in the Bible anyway. Either she's doing it on purpose which means she does notice that she's dressing immodestly, or she doesn't notice that (someway somehow).

I was on a meeting and there was no table in the room. Sitting for hours made me sat not properly and I didn't even notice that until my friend (a bro in Christ) gave me a sign for me to sit properly. I thanked him and I preferred to be told sooner than later, or through another female coworker. For me it would be more embarrassing, better to say it loud in front of me.

Several have made good suggestions: looking away, not looking at her, etc. If she asks, then you can tell her by all means. There is no reason to be loud -- just talk normally and think of her as "If it was my sister, would I want someone to say something to her?"

Well,on this it's just two simple options to choose .1:once you've found something like that,it's best to accept it & know that there's nothing on earth can't ever change it or 2:just leave it as it you've found it,simple as that! (NOTE TO ALL LADIES: of course,i'm not referring to you ladies as an "it" of course,i'm just making a point).

Paul did write that men should council menand women council women.

This is good sound advice.

However guys, you could always ask her out on a date if both of you are single and buy her some conservative clothing........

SLAP ACROSS THE FACE. last date??????? :dancingp::laugh:
