Au Naturale?

The last guy I was seriously dating didn't say anything until about 5 months in. He had come to pick me up to go out and I was in the bathroom getting ready to put on eyeshadow and he said, "I wish you wouldn't".

"Huh"? I says. He said he loved my face without make-up, that it to him it was a declaration of not being happy with ones appearance to change it and was very fake and misleading. I was like, "Well, dang!"

While I was out yesterday, I heard a random conversation by strangers where a guy said something similar and it reminded me of that time. It made me want to take a poll and see if the CDFF guys had like-minded thoughts. Any of you feel the opposite way? Doesn't matter?

I'm with the other guys on this one -- if you use makeup to enhance your features, and use it sparingly, I'm ok with it. I'm also ok with no makeup. The layers and layers thing is extremely unattractive. That makes women look fake and honestly, look like hos.

Debra99, girlllll, you my new BF! Thank you, Boo!:dancingp:

Didn't mean to slight you 2sp when I was giving out thanks. Thanks for your input, as well as Tulip.

Silver, I like you! You be livin' on the edge! (Ho's )

Imma bout to change my profile pic to the one where I'm blonder (this past summer),and this is my current FB pic. I have no makeup on my face or eyes, nothin but a pale pink gloss on my lips. I get so many compliments bout being sexy and all that from random strangers in my inbox. (And no, I'm not fat-headed about it, beauty is skin deep and I have gotten to the place where I don't care! Take a voluptuous, red-bone sista or leave me!) :rocknroll:

Thank yall for your participation!

Me I prefer women with out the make up. I think it is false advertising.

I mean i have seen a lot of deception that women go through to look nice or attractive for men.

If a guy doesn't like you with out the make up you have to wonder does he really?

Hey Baby Girl, for a minute my tired eyes read that your man was putting on eye shadow and you said, " I wish you wouldn't"

Okay, I've been writing all day and popped in to see what was shaking or what what flaming.

Anyway, good to see ya and you are a pretty lady and I gotta agree with you on the lipstick without the eyes. It just ain't right!

I have never worn face cream or powder cause it bugs me too much and covered my freckles which looked totally ridiculous. So, I never got into that at all, but some girls like it and that is okay, too.

I do like mascara and some lipstick or I just feel like I fade into the woodwork with my red hair and light features. Yeah, I'm a redhead, you can see it in the back where my hair is stacked.

Nice to know some guys aren't all about Hollywood and some just call it like they see it. Hos? Alrighty then~this forum is  lately.

I have to go with the rest of the guys on this one. If she wants to wear makeup it is no big deal, but I think without is great. It just makes me think she is being herself.

ok so this made me laugh. I was talking to a man from THIS site for months both in email and on phone. I met him at Christmas time and he had the guts to ask me if i ever wore make up. I siad NO. He said he had never met a lady who didnt that wasnt married to a pastor. I assured hiom there are women who do not. I was insulted. I know im not a beauty but hey I know most men I know says little or no make up is what they want. Thats ok he and I are done I found out we do not click and he was very rude about several things that I just could not get past.

I say if you want to wear it go for it but know that you do not need it

God Bless
