What do You Believe?

Here are 5 questions with 2 choices each, please choose.

#1)Depravity of Man =

A) As the result of the Fall man has inherited a corrupted nature.

C) As the result of the Fall man is totally depraved and dead in sin.

#2) Election =

A) God elected those whom He knew would believe, it is conditional based on man's response in faith.

C) God unconditionally elected some to be saved, it is not based on man's response.

#3) Atonement =

A) Christ died for the entire human race, His death is effective only in those who believe.

C) Christ did not die for everyone but only those who were elected to be saved.

#4) Grace =

A) Grace is given to all people, man is able to cooperate with God and respond to Him in salvation.

C) Common grace is given to all mankind but cannot say anyone. Irresistible grace draws those whom he has elected to himself.

#5) Perseverance =

A) Believers may turn from grace and lose their salvation.

C) Believers are not able to turn from grace and lose their salvation.

(The reason I posted this here and not the Bible Discussion section is cause this is just for fun and not for serious Biblical Discussion, However I do NOT own this thread so feel free to express and share whatever you wish!)

Interesting questions.

#1) Depravity of Man = C

#2) Election = Neither. We are saved by faith. The only "chosen" are Jews, but God wants ALL to come to Him.

#3) Atonement = A -- if you stop the sentence after the comma. Christ died for all. Period.

#4) Grace = Neither. Grace from God is given to ALL, all the time. No exceptions, no qualifiers.

#5) Perseverance = I believe a believer (someone who has accepted Jesus as their Savior and has had a born-again experience) can sin so greatly that they lose their salvation. I believe the New Testament shows this as specifically a sin against the Holy Spirit, combined with unbelief. Not reasonable doubt -- not being unsure -- but total unbelief and denial.

#1)Depravity of Man =

I believe that "Man" lost their connection/spiritual nature when they willingly sinned, and that the connection/nature is regained through baptism/new birth in Jesus.

#2) Election =

I believe God knows who will believe, but I believe that He still offers grace to everyone, and that His knowledge of the future doesn't affect His love/effort toward every sinner.

#3) Atonement =

I believe Jesus died for everyone, His blood is available to everyone that has faith in Him.

#4) Grace =

I believe God scatters grace everywhere and draws all men to see the truth. We would not seek God if He did not draw us first, but I believe that we have a choice to accept/reject when we're brought to a knowledge of God/the truth.

#5) Perseverance =

I believe it is possible for someone to truly believe for a time and fall away.

:peace::peace:

P.S. (Sorry I didn't choose from the two options)

1)Depravity of Man =A) As the result of the Fall man has inherited a corrupted nature. (This one's tough for me because I've heard both sides explained well and poorly. I'd probably choose D-yes we are spiritually dead in sins and trespasses, but we are alive in body. We are dead like a seed in the ground more than like a dead body that will never move. No man can come to God except the spirit of God draws him, but I believe all men are drawn, and not just once but repeatedly.)

#2) Election =A) God elected those whom He knew would believe, it is conditional based on man's response in faith.

#3) Atonement = D again... Christ died for the entire human race, but I believe His death has an impact on everyone, not only those who believe. However, His death is effectual in salvation for believers.

#4) Grace =D) Grace is given to all people, man responds to Him in salvation.

#5) Perseverance =D) Believers may turn from grace and lose their salvation. However, "turning from grace" is a deliberate, ongoing resistance to God, not little mistakes and sins. Even a person who deliberately sins has not necessarily turned from grace, and they are not limited from returning to grace even if they did turn away. There is a question in my mind as to why anyone who has truly experienced grace would ever turn from it. But maybe that's another topic. :)
