After she died some friends shared that they had the same feelings about her. I would be wary of anyone like this now. It does not serve any purpose here on earth other than to aggravate people. Posted : 23 Nov, 2010 05:58 AM My understanding of the expression is a man/woman who spends so much time studying scripture and talking about scripture and what it means and what God was saying..... that they neglect the other things God has called His children to do. Like speaking the Gospel in truth in love, often simply, for people who do not know it. People I have known that are so spiritually minded they are no earthly good cannot explain the Gospel message in simple terms for people. They get caught up in the Greek and Hebrew and all the minutea (spelling?) that they are unable to tell about their faith simply. Post Reply
