While it may seem they're "all" (or even mostly) about that, I have found that not to be the case. But I know your frustration. We all have things that cause us to react more strongly than others do. Posted : 21 Nov, 2010 11:59 PM "Why no profile content?" "First dates and dinner" "Flirting" "Pet peeves" "Why is it so hard to find a Christian man?" "Whats wrong with my profile?" "Rejection" "Wink?" "Is it normal to stop talking...?" These were just a few of the thread topics on "Ask a Guy" when I first joined this site. Regular contributors included Cattle, Arch, River, Gracemae, SOS, ET, SpringRose, GL, GJ, BG, Saved, Pixy ...to name a few. Mostly older adults. I really enjoyed the context and format of the topics. Yes, there was a little friendly but healthy bickering. Nothing like now. I remember a time when folks actually cared about offending others. How did we get from there to where we are now? Almost every topic now seems to be of a sexual nature and those offended or bring the matter up are told to go elsewhere. When someone tries to start a new thread about anything else it is quickly sent to the next page. Just a personal observation. I'm sure I will be told if I don't like it to go elsewhere......... Like I say that ppl should avoid & ignore threads that have topics that make you uncomfortable, I will ignore threads that are "suggesting" we not speak on sex or whatever else bothers individuals.:applause: Post Reply

Again, I simply asked "why" & if y'all knew there are SEVERAL other topics to speak about that ARE just as interesting... :boxing: :excited: :laugh: @ --> edw ... Thank you baby for your input. Yes, the way some ppl speak to others is quite sad indeed. Yes, certain ppl continually take things WAY out of context and obvious meaning just to give the author of the thread or author of a certain post a difficult time (very immature!) (No, not you BG. :glow:) Wow... Y'all amaze me! A simple "why" and a simple statement of "There are Several other topics of great interest" had many offer only negative comments or combative comments. That is very interesting and disheartening. Why such STRONG desire to discuss sex in any capacity? Has society, via media of all forms, impressed upon the hearts and minds of ppl (especially Christians with in CDFF) so much as there is very little to nothing left in your hearts/minds or desire to talk about? If such a strong "need" to discuss "SEX" why not seek a professional to help you process thru the "issue(s)" as one posted, or be open to discuss any other area of need/concern in this matter. Posted : 22 Nov, 2010 09:44 AM @edw No worries mate, no need to go anywhere. Just as soon as the broken bone in my hand heals and the cast comes off I will be busy once again. This forum was so dead compared to " worldly" forums my thought was to liven it up and perhaps attract more posters. Whiile on the "worldly" sites I was constantly under attack by atheists, witches, druids, new agers, and especially by the homosexuals, specifically the lesbians, for my conservative Christian beliefs. At first it was fun and I fought diligently for the Christian faith, even being banned from one site! But in time their bold blindness became wearisome; so here I am on a Christian site. As you know I take scripture very seriously ; therefore take Roman 14 , 1Cor 8 & 9, 1Ths 5, seriously. In light of these chapters I defer to yours and others wishes. However LET IT BE KNOWN : People see what they want to see as PROVED by the post titled "Asexual reprodution makes me gay" perhaps you should read the responses. In summary, allow me to apologize for offending anyone with posting about sex. However where I have defended the Faith against denominational heresies I feel no apology is necessary. Post Reply
