CREDIT REPORT?Posted : 19 Oct, 2010 04:28 AMWould you require a (potential mate) person you were dating to show their credit report? How important is that to you? |

CREDIT REPORT?Posted : 19 Oct, 2010 09:16 PMthanks twosparrows and cowgirl - it's really not so bad - I've actually paid off all CCs and closed them except for one. But it stays pretty much maxed. I hate not having any CCs at all, but I know it's not a good thing to pay some each month then spend it right back up. Got to get better control of it! Willpower! Aw man, I just remembered that I opened up a JCPenneys card earlier this year.... that will be my first goal - to close that baby down, then to slowly pay down my only visa card; maybe even call the bank to have them lower my max credit limit each time I pay it down so I can't spend it back up. woohoo I have a plan! |

CREDIT REPORT?Posted : 20 Oct, 2010 11:33 AMThe hardest part is when they decide to give you a $25,000 credit limit when you're only 20 years old, in college, and don't have a full time job! My credit score was AMAZING so they kept raising the limit but then I wasn't making enough money to live on so I started really racking up the balance between gas, food, medical, and other things. Adds up fast. Now I have a steady job, only one card with a low limit and keep my balance at $0, but it took a while to get there  |
