Admin	question about lingerie Posted : 15 Oct, 2010 01:04 AM I had this guy friend a few years ago who told me that it's sinful for single women to wear coloured undergarments. He believed that the only appropriate choices were white and beige. His explanation for this was that a woman couldn't select coloured underthings without having impure thoughts... that a woman would only select coloured ones if she was trying to feel sexy... and that it's wrong for a single woman to have any thoughts of wanting to feel sexy. What do you all think? Are coloured undergarments okay or sinful for the single gal? Post Reply

LOL My problem is that I don't have very broad shoulders, so the straps are always slipping off and I have to reach into my shirt to pull them back up... LOL Of course, people notice and catch a glimpse of the straps sometimes, so they must be in pretty, coordinating colours! It's really kind of embarrassing actually, but it is what it is, I guess... I've got all sort of bright colors and patterns in there! And I absolutely DO wear them!!! :angeldevil: The way I see it, if the underwear can't be seen, WHAT DOES IT MATTER??? If I want the underwear to show through my thin white pants, that's a problem. Same goes for bra colors...if they don't show, does it matter if I choose leopard print bras? :goofball: (And yes, I do color coordinate for the reasons that Pixy listed...the straps slide down sometimes and have to be adjusted, and they will probably be seen briefly.) Besides, when I buy a multi-pack of underwear, or shop the clearance racks for bras, I'm rather limited to whatever I can get. :angel: Post Reply

Welcome :-) I'm fairly new around the forums so maybe you were here before me haha, but I've read a few of your posts and I'm a fan. You crack me up :laugh: About color coordinating, that's a must! It's not just about straps either. For example, I have this brown shirt that if I don't wear a dark colored bra under it, it shows through the shirt. And the shirt isn't see through at all except for right there when I wear a light colored bra, especially white. You can even see the white in PICTURES! That's when I realized I need dark bras with that shirt, hahaha. Post Reply

We can come up with an excuse for anything :) now my 13yo neice on the other hand - teens these days I've notice wear see through/thin shirts to purposely show their bras - I see them at the mall, doctor appts, school, everywhere showing their whole bras!. So I had to make a new house rule (she lives with me) - no showing undergarments outside your room! @ bcpiano Gotta love them clearance bras - there's some cute stuff there! Post Reply
