Admin	Scary Posted : 12 Aug, 2010 10:15 AM Is it just me or does the prospect of putting yourself out there a scary thing. I think some people were born with an extra healthy dose of confidence that no matter what happens they don't let things bother them. I on the other hand am a young woman from the Caribbean checking out this site and you know sending emails just to you know forge a friendship maybe, and they don't reply, even to say 'hey thanks for the message but i don't think we'll be friends' lol! Don't know why that is but is it easier to get rejected online than in person i wonder ha ha. Ah well all things that are meant to be will. Everyone has their type as do I but my type doesn't seem to like me back lol! Am i alone here ppl? Post Reply

It's been fun getting to know people, especially since I don't have a real strong Christian network in "real life." A few people from this site are on my FB. My boyfriend is on this site =) But I didn't meet him here. I think this site gave us some good things to talk about, though, which helped us to become better acquainted! Post Reply

You probably have to go through about 50 to get 1 that you will stay close to and build relationships with. some who will be your friend and minister to you when you need it. I'm really happy for ya sister! :) As for me, I've talked to several great guys on this site. My location isn't very favourable (Europe) so with most of them I don't expect to ever become anything more than pen pals, but still I consider it worthwhile. Some of the men helped me to grow closer to God, some inspired to change some things about myself, and some are the means of me knowing myself better. And I am greateful for each and every of them! God is good and forever faithful. Even if I haven't met the right man yet I know that talking to all these guys is like getting ready for this ultimate encounter! :) God bless xxx Post Reply

I am really glad I came here because I too am meeting people who are sold out for Christ, it's like a treasure chest waiting to be explored. Many of the youths who call themselves Christians in my country don't have such a strong foundation in my book and are really secular. but then I am reminded of the parable about the sower in the bible. I guess not all seeds fall upon good ground but I am still praying for them. I guess I have a heart for them. I think though in the relationship aspects of things that you get good and bad on both sides of the fence. For me to make a statement saying "Most christian guys I've met in my own country are just as worldy as those who are not saved" is totally biased because I know there are some guys out there who think the same of girls. So Kudos to the virtuous men and women out there who are diamonds in the rough hidden and worked upon the hand of our Father until it's time to meet that special one. Post Reply
