I have observed that many guys are mostly interested in looks more than they are in personality...... Now I am not generalising here but most men are all about how good the woman looks!!!!! While I agree that looks are somewhat important in a relationship, what about a woman's intelligence? I have met many guys who would prefer a brain-dead female with good "asset"s and beautiful face instead of an average- looking woman who's smart... Why is that? After all, beauty fades, and assets eventually sag, but personality, wit, intelligence and general aptitude only gets better with time..... Not so? Post Reply

We all have preferences, that which we find appealing and that which we don't. Though I am not in a position to speak for all men or women, I will say that both parties need to be honest from the beginning. If he's all about looks and she desires more, then that should stated. Where the problem exists is in a lack of honesty and integrity. I would risk saying that generally, men are more visual that women however, that should never, ever negate the totality of the whole person. But I am honest enough to confess that I had to mature and grow wiser in my life before I could even begin to appreciate the more subtle and deeper aspects of a woman. Now, though she may beautiful, if she bears the personality of a self-centered, weekend Christian, well, that is not appealing. Wasn't always the case. Sheesh - YES, there are truly men that desire and long for the ENTIRE package and it needn't be the social example of beauty! :yay: Post Reply

After all, people look for similarities, right? Anyway...I agree with everyone here pretty much. Physical attraction is important, but I see hundreds of "beautiful" women that I would never date/marry. The problem with guys nowadays is that they don't keep their pants on long enough to see how shallow that kind of "beauty" is. Anyway...I know my girlfriend is probably not the most beautiful girl in the world, but I also know that I think she is. Probably because I'm attracted to everything about her. Physically, mentally, and spiritually. I'd even venture to say that people that marry just one or two of those things are missing out on the "whole package" that God might have in store for them...but if there is any contention among you...I have no such custom. Just a theory. That is true it does not work well if you are in a relationship with someone for one thing. Of course I do not consider myself brain dead because maybe contrary to most men I do not find supermodels attractive. They just look and seem fake to me I want a real girl. BTW I am glad you said you were a guy because your picture confused me I was not sure if you were they guy or girl in the picture. :applause: Post Reply

Posted : 20 Jul, 2011 04:41 AM As most feminine readers, here, declared happy to know .............., i would like to post some aspects that could be also helpfull to them! Many women, use to uprise themselves about characteristics which are of visible nature, like beauty etc. This could be named self_advertisement, which could be considered ridiculous, especially when those visual characteristics do not correlate with the our special aspects. Personally, i mistrust appraised visual gifts, when not accompanied with elaborated characteristics. Post Reply
