Marriage and commitment take work, LOTSA hard work and we are a society that wants everything instant and easy. How fast can we get it and how easy is it to do? As Christians we are to have a different attitude than the world, but we are surrounded by it and it permeates everything we do. Somehow, we must go beyond these attitudes and behaviors and stand in the examples given us by Christ. And I believe that we can only do that when we turn EVERYTHING over to Jesus on a daily basis. I'm not speaking from an "I've arrived" standpoint, but from and "I'm working on this with God's help" standpoint! Blessings on all, RA Post Reply
View Profile History	Commitment Posted : 7 Sep, 2010 08:12 AM I think that asking the men on this site why other men are not willing to commit to marriage is not going to help you much. If they are on this site looking, then most likely they are willing to commit. For the most part, men are not willing to commit until they feel that they are either able to start a family, or have completed everything that they want to accomplish before marriage. Very rarely it is because the woman they are with is just not the right one. If you are in a relationship, and you get to the point where you know you want to marry the guy, but he won�t commit, then you should ask him what is standing in the way. If he says something like, I am just not ready to settle down, then I would recommend leaving him. You might be able to help him remove whatever obstacle is in the way, and then he will be able to commit. Cobbler Post Reply
