I've also read that different guys like different sizes of girls, including ones that have more "padding" on their bodies. So, which is it? Post Reply

To offer some brief background, some 800 years ago women that had some meat on them were considered most desirable amongst all the women.. as they appeared *healthy*. It is our contemporary, "anything goes" culture promoting near-anorexia as desirable to the majority of men out there and healthy as well. The sad thing is that the majority of men out there fall for it when it is not really fading beauty so much as a normal forecasted change for everyone. God sees to the heart, and man looks towards the outward appearance according to the 1st or 2nd book of Samuel. There are a lot of superficial people out there where beauty is only skin deep. It is designed to fade away as this earth is a temporal place; the soul and love of Christ should be shining radiantly through that vessel that moves around and toils the earth. For me personally, I can't see why a man could ever stop loving a woman that helps him become a dad, as well as a family. Peace Post Reply

View Profile History	"She's Too Fat" Posted : 25 Mar, 2010 06:18 PM I think at some point we all have image issues. i know for me its my disability and I maybe thin but I don't always feel beautiful. Until I remember how God sees me. Its a healing process God wants to take us all through, and yes let it be the inward hidden part that draws a man. With that said I think just as we are to love God mind body soul and spirit we need to connect with our mates on those levels too. If there is no physical attraction, emotional attraction, intellectual attraction, and especially spiritually attraction. It will be hard. Keep the faith my brothers and sisters. this four things are the facets of a beautiful diamond that shines Jesus to the rest of the world while a marriage is a witness to it. And they will know you are my disciples by your love for one another. Don't give up and don't rush. :rolleyes: Let's keep our eyes on Jesus! well that's my 200 words about it. ;) Post Reply

Ima steal that! :laugh: Mind, body, and spirit are what attracts and on different levels of importance for different people. For me, intelligence is VERY important. Having a connection with them chemistry/spiritually is right up there of course and physical attraction would be last. BTW, you are very beautiful! :bow: Post Reply

I prefer a woman who is bigger than I am, but I'm underweight, and ran cross-country and track and played soccer for many years. I have a "man's" man's body by all means, but that being said, that's ME. I don't want someone who looks or is built like me. I'd prefer someone soft and cuddly as opposed to wiry and hard. Now, going along with remp, I do want someone driven! whether she's 300 lbs or 130 lbs don't matter to me. It's the drive that matters. A hint to all women out there, it's all about confidence. If you're not happy with yourself, how can you expect someone else to be? Post Reply

Why we are like that I dont know, all I can say is God designed us like that for a reason. When I see a beautiful woman it strikes a cord deep within my core. Attration to men in of it's self is subjective, meaning it varies depending on the man's preference. Fat is also a word that seems to be subjective, Ive known women who thought they were fat, and by any means are not, and I've also met women who dub themselves a voluptious, curvy, thick, and were clearly over weight or obesse. Physical Attration for a man is not the single most important aspect in a potential mate, but it is essential. If a man can not be attracted to you, than it will be hard for them to be physically intimate, which is also an essential aspect in marriage to a man. Both Sex and a woman who maintains her looks make a man feel loved especially in a commited relationship like marriage. A mans preference are usally is his own and not governed by outside influenes, and maybe even inborn. There are some men who dig a slender frame There are some that dig alot bigger frame Most seem to prefer an hourglass shape. Also important to remember, most men (I believe) have an equal or greater perception (of cource this is based on a mans perception of who he is and what he thinks he can get). For example a fat man will more than likely go for a fat woman or smaller, and a fit man will go for a fit woman ect. Men also have tolerance levels of what they find acceptable, or will make consession for certain things if a woman isnt quite what he would prefer. For instance a woman who is really pretty, but has a bit of a belly migtht be acceptable to a man who would other wise not be attracted to a woman with more body mass is more than her frame can hold. I know its hard being big, i used to be myself, and still have a bit to go. At one point in time I weighed 260lbs. I had no excuse I just liked to eat alot, and still wrestle with it. I want to give God my very best, and if I can't give my Lord my best, how can I give my potential wife my best? Post Reply
