Admin	All Guys...How do you handle lust? Posted : 14 Dec, 2009 06:55 PM Single or married, lust doesn't change. How do you respond to its dark pull? Do you look once, and move foward? Do you look twice, and pray? Do you keeping looking when a certain person captures your attention in ungodly ways, and try to make up for the "bad" you just did? I know what God's Word says about lust, and the solutions for it....but how do you really handle it when confronted with lust-filled opportunities every day? Be honest...... Post Reply

Posted : 17 Dec, 2009 10:47 PM yeah maybe so cattleman my friend... but maybe if a person is gonna ask a question like this it might be helpful to the reader if he or she were to give an example of their own thoughts on the topic they're asking on or want to discuss to avoid any misunderstanding too. also if i myself were to say something in poor judgment in public i would expect to be confronted by the public. if i did something in front of a friend or two i'd expect to get an earful from them if they call themselves a friend ya know? All my "good" friends carry Mirrors with them to remind me what I really look like when my head gets too big or when I do something "stupid".....which seems to be quite frequently....lately. I hope this draws lots more responses; because you all seem to have a piece of the puzzle so to speak. If I may add just a small comment from the sisters' bench; it might help to keep in mind that lustful inuendo, comment, and behavior are all extremly disrespectful to a prospective mate. I believe the example used was a low cut top. Men are visually stimulated by design. Breast visually stimulate a man (just look at song of Solomon), causing a physiological responce, or a sexual responce. A beautiful woman who lacks discretion is like a gold ring in a pig's snout. Proverbs 11:22. Discretion can be defined as: the quality of being discreet, esp. with reference to one's own actions or speech; prudence or decorum. With that said a man must either turn and flee sexual temptaion or yield. Post Reply
