Posted : 3 Dec, 2009 04:00 AM Men, I understand God made you visual, and of course, we ALL like to see who we are talking to. That being said, sometimes on the forums I notice people dressed in a somewhat seductive manner to say the least. Both men and women do it, but mostly women I think and mostly young people, but occasionally some are really not that young either. I know what I think when I see this, but obviously opinions on this must vary from what I can tell. I am not asking for what the Bible says on it, for those that are obedient in the Word know, and those that are not apparently don't care all that much. So here is the question, when you see a seductive woman's picture on this site, what are your thoughts on it? And do you want to talk to here or run from her? Is this working for you, or are you wishing someone would say something, but you really just don't want to be the one? Be honest, now, its only fair to defend what your honest feelings are here, so women will know one way or the other. Nobody is perfect, an not one among us is without our vices. Tarasye Post Reply

I just want to point out that Tarasye wasn't talking about beauty so much as she was sexuality and the displaying or merchandising of it. Paul took a vow of celibacy and admonished the woman to wear a head covering so as not to tempt the other men at Church (especially those who had to carry the Cross of celibacy). Face it guys, we are weak beings and need to steel ourselves less we fall hard and we sure don't need obvious inducements or inticements. Ms. Grace -- as far as I am concern (and I feel I speak for most of the men here) feel free to interject your thoughts anytime and that goes for all the women here. Peace Post Reply

Posted : 4 Dec, 2009 03:11 PM Dear Tarasye, to be honest I really haven't seen hardly any profile photos that I'd consider seductive or inappropriate other than the obvious scammer hits us guys get once in a while, and they don't last long on this site. Although, come to think of it there is one photo I've seen recently that makes my mouth water and eyes long for...it's that tasty looking broiled salmon dish of GraceMae's, and it looks sinfully delicious! Get-in-my-belly! mmmm! LOL :eat: I really do think neither that men or women need to do that to gain attention, it's just something I'd rather not see there are enough temptations on the tube to avoid and in daily living in general. You know this too shows women can be more creative with our profiles! More than one way to get a guys attention. :yay: Yes, most men want to see photos as "deepndath" said, but sometimes its really good to know the guy might be attracted to the content of her profile ( you know--like he actually read it), and then if a photo isn't listed, send her a private message and ask for one. Some women may be shy here and feel awkward about just having pictures of them plastered all over the pages. You know, these days, all you have to do is get somebody riled and say the wrong thing to them, and God knows what they can do electronically with all the pics you've got posted here. Sorry Tara... I can understand your point in a woman being shy or feeling awkward, I also git the jitters at times in attempting to make a first contact...I don't reference the book of guaranteed lines to impress the ladies ya know? I try to say something original, short and sweet but more times than not I'll back out of contacting some of interest just because I don't know what to say to her. If a lady doesn't have photo and she's on for a while and getting responses then some guys must be reading her profile don't you think? If she's not getting as many responses as she'd like then maybe shoulld consider at least one, and it doesn't have to be an up in your grill shot either, just one standing back with a nice smile. Also she doesn't need to make it the primary photo, use a pet or what have you as primary to catch the eye and have 1 photo saved as a 2nd one as some folks here do. Now if a guy is being rude or pushy in response to her not having a photo well that's just wrong and out of line for and this fella needs to check himself, there's no need for that kind of conduct to a lady. Just because we're on the internet and no sees. Well the Lord sees! Anyway I hope you don't mind me adding my thoughts here too since we're off the topic...sorry Tarasye:glow: Post Reply

Posted : 6 Dec, 2009 03:39 PM I like a sharp dressed woman.That is a lady who dresses with a moral backing,ok.A skirt and nice blouse or a dress.Her clothing speaks about her morals.A woman can be nice to look at and wear spiffy clothing. I do not like clothing such as bikini pics,pics revealing cleavage and tattoes,ok.That is a bit offensive. I wil look at a pic with a lady who dresses conservative and think to my self is this the kind of woman I would marry.If yes I will send her a wink or email.Also,how close does shelive to me. Posted : 9 Dec, 2009 04:35 PM I think a lot of girls fail to learn the difference between dressing attractively and dressing trashy. While I won't immediately discount a girl who has a picture that incidentally shows a little cleavage, it's a much bigger deal if she's obviously trying to use her body as a selling point. As for women not posting pictures of themselves, I think it's dumb. Just go ahead, take a chance, and let guys see what you look like. If you feel the need to hide what you look like, I question how ready you are to be in a serious relationship. Post Reply
