lowilker View Profile History	What do you look for in a woman? Posted : 21 Jul, 2014 05:25 PM I have to admit, I get really frustrated. I wonder what I am doing wrong. I'm a african american woman. I'm not skinny. I'm not real overweight, but I am overweight. When I am on the dating sites, I write what it asks me; about my personality,what I'm looking for etc. However, when I express interest, I am told in not so many words that you are overweight, and I'm looking for someone better, i.e. not overweight. Guys, is the number one thing you look for is for someone who is skinny? Are you interested in dating outside of your race or is that a forbidden thing? What am I doing wrong? Should I just stop trying? Post Reply

And, like you, women tend to look down on me because of this. As most of the other ppl who commented, I'd say to you to keep being yourself and pray to God that He keeps you heart from feeling hurt by the attitudes of those guys who look down on you because of you "size". Men like women who pleasant to them when they talk AND pleasant to our eyes. Men are visual creatures. We tend to be attracted by what we see. And women, on the other hand, are more listeners, they tend to be "melted" by what they hear. The fact that you're overweight means nothing at all - you can still be good-looking! There are plenty of girls who, despite being overweight, look fantastic. Simply stay focused on God Himself and the rest He'll do ;) Post Reply

Posted : 30 Aug, 2014 07:58 PM I personally feel attracted to women whose skin is white or slightly dark and may be described as slender, atheltic, or average. And even within that category, I find certain faces more attractive than others. I think, what your face looks like is more important than the rest of your body, because you can always lose weight, but you cannot reshape your head or move your eyes closer together or your chin up, etc. You would need plastic surgery to do those things, and I don't think anybody should do that unless someone was in an accident and her face is horribly deformed. So, I do have my preferences, and you can't really blame me for not liking black women, because it's not something I can consciously change. It's like food. Some people cannot stand certain foods and smells. And you can't tell them, "Look, you must love this food, because this is good!" If they can't stand it, then forget it. Don't worry if not everybody finds you attractive. That's not important. You only have to attract one guy who will love you. You don't have to make the whole world love you. But losing weight is something you can do. It's totally under your control. So, if you feel that it would help you in dating, you should get on a diet and lose some weight. Once I talked to a girl who was overweight, and I asked her this question: If God promised you to give you a husband if you jumped out of an airplane, would you do it? And she said "YES!!! And if I don't want to jump, I would ask somebody to throw me out of the airplane!" Now, if someone is willing to overcome her fears of heights and jump out of an airplane, wouldn't it be an easier thing to just say NO to that chocolate cake or dessert? LOL I think, it would be easier. And I think, women don't realize how much more success they would gain by losing weight. I mean most men really do prefer thin women. It's somewhat more attractive. I know there are men who like average and large size, but I think most men would choose a model instead of an average if they had a choice. :) Post Reply

Posted : 8 May, 2015 02:14 AM sister in Christ lowilker dont give up.... i guess da right guy will come along in your life and will accept u for who u are completely no.matter what size shape race color we are....we are Gods workmanship...and we are fearfullyand wonderfully made by him....we are all entitled to be loved appreciated and respected.....We are Gods princesses....we are precious in His sight dont ever forget your worth....God will send u da right man at da right time be patient.... and dont be discouraged....sissy cheer up!!! well i guess for all da guys who are very rude...we are women and we have feelings and emotions too...be sensitive with what u say to us we are not just a rock....it really hurts us when we get painful and harsh remarks....
