I am just looking to get some feedback about what y'all think. The question is, What basic Characteristics should every Christian man exhibit that helps him to stand out from the world, and show that he is a Child of God and a Man of God? I know about the things that Scripture tell us, I just want to see what my fellow Christian Men think is all. Post Reply

Politically 'liberal' replaced the democrat label and came before "progressive'.. Just as 'conservatism" labeling which somewhere replaced GOP/ republican labeling for what they now say is their ideology: and has no monopoly on morality, if God looks at the heart of man..it stand to reason it is an individual thing..no one else can repent for my sins.. (not arguing policies) the labels are merely man's attempt at a sense of a fresh start or whatever of deception.. Spiritually/truthfully does it really matters:, Entry into heaven is not based on either... unfortunately some us think Christianity and Conservatism are the same thing.. guess I missed something... Meaning, he should give up his selfish desires on many occasions to provide for other people's needs. He should also develop a personal devotion time with his God. Be it in worship, singing, praising, praying, bible reading, or similar. Without this, he is not a follower of Christ. I personally think it's important for a man to fight his way into heaven, to hear the messages that the Lord has to say. A christian is not a christian if he can not hear God's voice. So many christians can't hear God's voice at all. They know basic things, but when they're in front of a conflict, they're not even seeking God for the answer! You can't be held responsible for not hearing of God, but you can be held responsible for not even trying! And to some extend for not trying hard enough. Post Reply
