Do you Drink? Do you Smoke? Child Of Satan

Do you Drink? "Socially"
Do you Smoke? "Occasionally"
A true believer in Christ will NOT drink and smoke. If you do, you belong to satan.
Does your drinking and smoking habits glorify God? Does it keep God happy? Did you check with the Holy Spirit? Don't ask other man to tell you the truth! Ask God! He will tell you the truth and His truth will set you free.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
Matthew 15 9-11
It is not alcohol or tobacco that defileth, it is the reason you do them. If you drink to get drunk, you have sinned. If you drink for a medical reason (your stomachs sake) you have not sinned. I have never heard of someone getting drunk or stoned using tobacco unless it was laced with something else. Using tobacco is not a sin.
:waving:...Hi Apostle...good to see you here...welcome back...
I cant make excuses for my self when it comes to Alcohol or Tobacco...Yahshua drank wine and it is part of the Feasts...Sabbath...
Tobacco is not in the Bible nor is Smoking...I my self do not drink Alcohol I dont do well on it nor do I Smoke...I used to do both...Often...I must admit I searched the Scriptures for my excuse to continue to do both...I really did...and I found that my GOD does not desire me to do what is harmful to my mind...body...spiirt...soul...Its just not for me...
1Cr 6:12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
2Cr 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Lev 20:7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I [am] the LORD your God. 8 And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I [am] the LORD which sanctify you.
1Pe 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
The Devil comes only to steal, kill and destroy. ~John 10:10
Smoking causes cancers in lung, esophagus, larynx, mouth, throat, kidney, bladder, pancreas, stomach, and cervix. It can shorten your life by 10 years or more.
Regular alcohol consumption can cause major health problems that can lead to depression, chronic diseases, neurological impairments, social problems and violence. It can also lead to heart attack or stroke.
Jesus warns us about satan.... "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." ~ John 10:10
The devil has no plan for you except to steal, kill and destroy. He has NO good plan for You and Your life! He wants to destroy your life through BAD and DESTRUCTIVE habits.
There are many other sins too but I have just mentioned two cos' that's what I have noticed on dating websites.
People are NOT sensitive to Sin,
They are not sensitive to the Holy Spirit,
They don't want to be corrected,
They don't like being judged,
They don't like to be criticized,
They don't want to be offended,
BUT THEY WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN.
The scariest scripture is Matthew 7:21-24
Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
God is not going to spare the "Anointed" people. {highlighted in RED} Why? Because they were living a double life.
What about "Noah"? How many people were on the Ark? 8 people. He saved 8 people and destroyed the rest.
What about "Sodom and Gomorrah"? How many people got out of Sodom and Gomorrah? Only Lot, his wife and two daughters, except for his wife.
He did not spare the "Angels".
For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment; if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard) if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh and despise authority. ~2 Peter 2:4-10
It is hard to go to Heaven but so easy to go to h*ll. There are many sins. I have just mentioned two and you people can't stand the truth.
18Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. 19Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? 20Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? 21Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? 22What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, 24Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
I think a person own heart will convict them when they are doing wrong; ie most smokers KNOW how bad it is. They are addicted, plain and simple. My mother kept smoking with lung cancer, while taking chemo. she knew she was killing herself, but she couldn't stop.
I do, however, feel GOD couldn't possibly condemn her, as much as she condemned herself. I think GOD forgave her, and that I Will see her in Heaven!
Drinking is a personal thing as Paul says Lawful, but for some not the best decision to make.
Drunkiness IS condemned in the bible. and if you CAN"T drink without getting drunk, you shouldn't drink.
After years of struggle, I stopped smoking while being a Believer through deliverance.
I stopped having sex while a Believer when I began to realize who I am in Christ.
While these things are unhealthy, God didn't turn His back on me. I think statements like yours are condemning,, and since the bible says there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ, your statement is not truth (IMO)..
Wow, hard to image someone saying, hey you're smoking a cigarette, you're going to hell. That's right up there with measuring skirt lengths, woman not wearing pants, and mothers of the church looking out for the makeup wearers (cause we're responsible if we happen to turn a guy on).. com on Really??
I thought receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and serving keeps you out of hell, I didn't know it was tossing the cigarettes.
"The Devil comes only to steal, kill and destroy". ~John 10:10
So many was to go with this: stealing, killing, destroying a nonbelievers curiosities of Salvation cause you tell them they'll go to hell drinking and smoking is probably the best way to say it.
the devil also steals Gods word, he'd rather you not understand.
Do you really think telling someone they're going to hell because of an addiction God knew they'd have before the person was even born, and wants them anyway...
Let's be logical here....A little bit of analytic philosophy incoming:
(1) Assume: Drinking is a sin
(2) Jesus was sinless: proof bible
(3) Jesus drank often at parties and gatherings: proof bible
(4) If someone drinks then they have sinned (1)
(5) Jesus sinned (combining 3 and 4)
(6) Contradiction between (2) and (5)
(7) Therefore assumption must be incorrect (6)
For those who don't know, this is called a proof by contradiction. It's well known, especially in mathematics classes.
Drinking is not evil. Alcohol abuse, on the other hand, is a sin, but it's independent of the alcohol and more about abusing anything in general.
From a scientific standpoint, a drink of red wine every day is actually healthy for you and can increase one's lifespan. Not true for all alcoholic beverages, but some are good in moderation.
Disregarding that for a moment, if we assume that any habit that might decrease one's lifespan must be designated as 'evil' then that means that eating lots of bacon and red meat must be 'evil' too, since that is scientifically known to be unhealthy and leads to clogged arteries and loads of other problems like obesity. By this strain of logic, eating these things must be evil too.
I have only begun to fully explore what this kind of thinking would lead to, but ultimately it is a life guided by fear. God does not want us to live our lives so afraid to make a mistake because of how many sins there are in life. Life is not about sin avoidance, it is about doing good. A person can live their life avoiding sin and making sure not to do any of the things on the naughty list, but that life can still be unfulfilled and totally empty.
