Lots of sleep, microwave food, that kind of stuff. Of course, most people don't consider my 'shape' to be something to aspire to... :rolleyes:

Exercise is great and all, but diet is probably 80% of weight gain or weight loss. As simple and easy as the "calories in vs. calories out" model sounds, it's far too simplistic. A calorie is not just a calorie. The type of foods you eat matter, and they matter a lot. The role of insulin in fat storage is paramount, but people rarely talk about it.

The simple answer is that the Western world eats way too much processed food and way, way, way too many carbs. All that bread, pasta, and cake leads to decreased insulin sensitivity and ultimately weight gain. Cut that out, and you'll see a huge change in how you feel and how you look. What are those foods giving you that you couldn't get in much healthier fruits and vegetables? Nothing.
