One thing I keep seeing consistently, when I read through these profiles, is that men are looking for women with 'NO DRAMA'. So, I'm curious... how do men define 'drama'?

ja2303, I'm glad I did not offend you. Again, I can be too rash in making generalizations. :)

I usually read this in profile of guys... what do you actually mean by drama-free?

Should it be a woman who does not have any sad stories in her life? I'm just wondering...

This has already been posted.lol

Most men have Drama, especially if they are a divorced male have had children and maintained a home, and other expenses. So, they probably want to be free of all that the next time around. lol

I think drama free is a personal perspective.

I don't mind an ex in the picture. An ex who just got out of jail for attempted murder isn't in my plan that's for sure.I can handle kids in the picture,I raised my 4 alone. But kids that are gangbangers aren't going to ever be living in my home!I don't mind my lady having a drink or 2 socially or 2 unwind.Pounding down 10 to 20 Jagerbombs is not the kind of evenings I want to spend with anyone!A past including a few indiscresions that haunt you is tolerable. You recently being payed for sexual favors to make ends meet is a definite deal breaker! You may think these are extreme cases but I have dated women with all of the above!

I do think men should be carefull about saying they don't want any drama because it's definition is personal. You might scare away some prize catch who thinks here flat tire in the rain last night is too much drama for you.

ps.... I carry a jack and a raincoat!

Men need to accept that a women is going to have drama due to her wounderful emotional nature.

It truly builds a womans trust and security when a man loves a woman through her many strong emotional states of being.

Men need to understand that these times are a blessing and oppertunity. But it takes inner strength to love a woman how she needs to be loved.

Men are you strong on the outside only or do you exibit inner strength as well?

Women are you lovable? Or are you a love vacume?

The bottom line is this men and women. We are all needy people for love. If we are honest with our selves we would realise how desperate we are for love. That is the beautiful reality of the very nature of God.

God is Love, The source of Love. If we look only to humans for our fulfillment of love we will fall to dissapointment.

This is why Jesus tells us to be joined with the vine because we can not bear fruit alone. Without the source of love in God our love is tainted.

If we were truly honest we would see our love is based in self but when we recieve the Agape love of God we now have the source to over come our sinnful nature of self.

Just as the woman at the well when Jesus said to her if you knew. You would have asked. I would have given you living water over flowing from your life.

This Holy water is the Spirit of God and Gods spirit is Love. She too like us have been in many relationships looking for love but until we learn how to find the source we will be left alone and empty.

I know from personal experience. I too had to over the 36 years of being a child of God learn more and more about His Love. Today I am sucessful in loving a woman because I humbled my self before God and God taught me how to be a man and love.

In May we will be married and I know without a doubt I will need to keep learning how to love my Lady.

Our need for love changes with time and we need to learn how to be sensitive and humble as we continue to look to God for guidence in loving people.

Two are stronger than one and a three fold cord is not easily broken.

In His Service,

M

I think it is important to note also that it is not just women who have "drama" or "baggage", we all have a past and we carry that past with us, it is what makes us the individuals who we are. I know men who have a heck of a lot more drama in there lives then the women I know. Yes there are extremes which even the best of us can't handle, but to say you want a woman with no drama, well good luck finding one.

There is a pretty good short film about pothead the protagonist. Just Google 'global short films, pothead' and it should be the first link.
