Sorry I offended you.

Hiya gentlemen, I noticed some guys get offended about some things more than others. Women and men are so different, things that wouldn't offend me offend some people. I'm sure some things offend me that wouldn't offend others.

What offends you guys? Are there things women say absent-mindedly that offend you?

The ladies are naturally welcome to give an example, vice versa!

God bless you

Peacenic,

Do you know God knows we are going to be offended? This is why He gives us the method of resolving offenses in the book of Matthew 18:15

God also knows we are going to be afraid as well.

You chose a good name peace. Do you know in the beattitudes Jesus says blessed are the peace makers, they will be called children of God.

Humbly,

Michael

Thanks YOu Bro,Michael

But if thy brother shall offend against thee, go, and rebuke him between thee and him alone. If he shall hear thee, thou shalt gain thy brother.

here is a classic example.

John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, "You brood

of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?

did He win some brothers with this statement?

to quote my friend Luke,

We are called to be trumpets, not flutes

I am sure you are referring to Matthew 3 :7, right?

Please brother do not add or subbtract from scripture because if you read John was rebuking the Pharisees and Sadducees.

Then he challenged them to bear fruit worthy of repentence. Is that not what we are called to do?

When Jesus taught about resolving conflict it was in the context of believers, right?

He says if thy brother offends you.... Go to him.

We can offend for the sake of the Gospel but that is in a different context then personal offense, right?

But in both cases we can humble or selves and express love , can we not?

Strength and Honor brother,

Michael

curious now,

do YOu believe the Pharisee's/Sadduccess were actually coming to be baptised?or did they have plans of rebuke themselves? and the tables got turned?

i guess all i am really trying to get across is,often one must trample anothers feelings for their benefit,if not,all we will accomplish is emotionally petting people all the way to hell....

Jesus is comming and HE is bringing a army, and They are not coming with polite intentions....

Rainbow,

Just because God gave us the parts of a male or female doesnt mean we know how to be ones.

Our culture is so mixed up where now clothes, perfume, hair styles can be for either. Not to mention the roles we have as individual genders.

God created us to have a role and express our selves in gender related manners. We have differing strength and weaknesses.

Now God never intended one gender to subjegate another. God desires harmony between the genders and harmony in the church the body of christ.

As we fulfill our roles harmony will be the result. Lets work toward harmony.

Humbly,

Michael

I'm not so think skinned, I don't look for occasions to be offended.

For me I guess the rule would be (If I had a rule) "does this person mean to offend me?"

Actually Bob & Peace,

The army that follows Jesus doesnt actually need to do anything because Jesus does it all.

11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. 17And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. 19And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21(((And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth))): and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Until then,

Michael
