Okay guys I need to know. The man made first contact. I responded. Everything seemed to be going well. He is talking about a future together yet he does not contact me every day. I am confused. Is it too much to expect a couple of emails in the course of the day? I mean, I would think he would want to start the morning off with at least a hello and then a more meaningful conversation some time later in the day. Am I expecting too much?? Or is there something else going on here?

This is so funny to me. It's proof that we men really have no clue what we're doing, relationship-wise.

I dated a woman once who broke up with me because I didn't pay her enough attention. Having learned this lesson, I decided that I'd make sure I called my next girlfriend at least once a day. That girlfriend broke up with me because I was "smothering" her. Really? With one phone call a day?

Men cannot win! LOL

Ladies, we men do NOT understand you! If you have a problem with us, please talk to us about it (in plain English, and not beating around the bush, and none of that "well if you don't know why I'm mad then I'm not going to tell you" cra-p).

Do not complain to your mom, your friends, your internet buddies about what a cra-ppy man you have because he does x or doesn't do y...talk to the man. If he likes you, he will want to please you (and already thinks he is!). So if you're not happy, you need to have a conversation. Sooner is better. Solve all your problems the same day if possible. I would LOVE a woman who respected me and our relationship so much that she wanted to settle problems fast so we could continue growing closer together.

PS: I can't believe the censors flagged the words "cr-ap" and "cr-appy". This is one reason people think Christians are uptight prudes.

As for me, if I was in a relationship and the girl meant something to me I would keep in contact everyday, but always expect days throughout the month were there won't be contact just because of we get caught up in our owns lives, family, work, church.

Your best bet, is just be open and honest with him, so the several questions and reasoning why he has not contact don't keep going through your head.
