I have managed to chase a few men off because I hesitate to cuddle until I am sure that I can trust that the man is in agreement with my request to wait until marriage for sex. I also find that I don't want to "tease" the man and then refuse before marriage. Am I too old fashioned in this area? Even on this site, I ran across a man's profile that he will not have sex for the first three dates with the word minimum in parentesis. He sounded nice in all other areas except for that sentence. Am I like totally weird since I am a 39 year old virgin? Post Reply
View Profile History	sex before marriage Posted : 29 Jun, 2012 05:31 PM If we read clearly the Bible concerning fornication, we understand it is a sin to engage in intercour...........se before marriage. Why is it that so many people do this though they confess Jesus as savior? I believe it is because they have yet to understand and discover true oneness. Sexual contact is a form of connection that any human being of a certain age can engage in and for a short time feel connected with another human being. I think we as people dont really understand our need for connection and love and the physical is a easy form to experience this fulfilling this need. What people dont ever tell is the deep feeling of emptyness and lonliness a individual feels after. Those whith a consious also feel a deep level of regret and guilt. Sin is pleasureable for a season but the end is death. Post Reply
OhZone View Profile History	sex before marriage Posted : 30 Jun, 2012 11:53 AM It seems that during the last 20 years, sex has changed from something committed couples or "bad" people might do outside of marriage, to an activity you do when on a date, just like going to a movie. It has surprised me how many professed Christians even think it's OK. It is a bad thing that churches and Christians have not taken a stronger stand against adultery. They have let Society teach us that it's OK, and that there are no bad consequences to having casual sex--as long as it is "protected." Their are numerous TV shows and movies where sex is something the cool people do. Sometimes with numerous partners during the show. But, even if you put religion aside, they don't explore the fact that people who have sex together create a physical and emotional bond unlike any other. And who usually gets hurt? The woman. I have an imperfect past, and it would have been so much better for me to not have disobeyed God. I hope that when I have children, I can teach them to stay on the straight and narrow. Post Reply

Adultry is the breaking of the unity of the marriage vow plain and simple. I would have to say that many of us here have been guilty of this including me. Who has the courage to admit it with me? If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Repentence starts in our hearts and lives. Post Reply

I am firmly confident that we must keep ourselves for each other. This is the will of God and His Word teaches us about it. But having relations here on this website with some "Christians guys . honestly I was surprised they think in like laity that sex before marriage is okay, otherwise they say how do we know that the right for each other? and these are the guys who say that they follow God and honor His Word? so you were great!!and you are doing the right thing!!God reward you for your loyalty and trust Him!
