When I get a response from someone the conversations seem to die quickly. What can I do to keep them alive and going?

okay, here is a little strange?

Guy views me, I view him. he seems nice, so I send nice note.

He sends very polite "your not for me" message.

okay, that's just fine.

now, why does he KEEP checking my profile? I mean like Real recently?

Strange!

I'm not much of a talker in real life. Most of the time you're doing great to get me to say more than "huh" or "yep"; and that's with talking to family and non-family.

Other times you can't get me to shut up, but those times are very rare. I honestly talk more on the net than I ever do in real life.

I believe getting to the point fast as possible with using less amount of words as possible. It's just who I am. It's how I've been all my life.

So in the dating world, you could imagine that doesn't help out a great deal. And when I do try to talk more (in real life), the convos just sound forced and die out quickly.
