EphraimPosted : 21 Apr, 2012 02:33 AMAs a Messianic, I should know something about Ephraim. Jacob prophesied that Ephraimites would be far more numerous than Mannassites. The reason they are left out in Rev. 7:1-8 is because they are in Rev. 7:9. Ephraimites intermarried with people all over the world. They multiplied to the point that almost anyone could be an Ephraimite. In the past, Israel was a unified nation. Then the Israelites were divided. God refers to the divided nation as Ephraim and Judah in Ezekiel. Ephraim are the mixed multitude. Ezekiel's prophecy of 2 sticks becoming one refers to the Jews and Ephraimites becoming one nation again in Israel. Today, Israel is overwhelmingly Jewish. The prophecy will not be truly fulfilled until Yahshua returns. (Ezekiel 37). |
