Admin	Just a general moan Posted : 27 Dec, 2011 02:11 AM I've come to the conclusion that many of the women here (on the forums at least) have a "box-ticking" mentality. You've got to be this, have that, do such and such, not done whatever, etc. And they seem to be pretty long lists too, judging from what they say about why they broke off with someone they spoke to or met. I'm fed up with it (here it is, the rant part) - why should I have to meet so many expectations to have a chance with someone when they're no less a sinner than me. Jesus took me as I was, and with His help, I'm changing to reciprocate that love. Seems many people have higher standards than Jesus though... They talk of their standards being godly and true Christians would have all of these traits, but they don't leave room for people to be human and fail in any of them. They talk of specifics in how a good man will treat them, but generalise or keep quiet about what they themselves will give. They talk that they deserve the best because God wants them to have the best, but they don't acknowledge they aren't the best God has to offer to men. Well that's my rant over - and it's probably knobbled the little chance I had of someone on here condescending to take a chance with me, but I've honestly stopped caring because what I see here is little different to that on secular dating sites, just with a few Bible quotes thrown in, and that saddens me. Problem is there seem to be very few women from the UK active on CDFF, and the ones that live close enough to be a realistic proposition simply don't want to know. Post Reply
