I have a revolutionary idead: if you raise your kid right, they won't want and/or need an abortion! Seriously, I know quite a few black Republicans. Its not crazy, its th eir belief how the government should be run.

Here's the thing, when Obama wants something done, and somebody white disagrees, a lot of people have a tendency to call them racist. They discount anything that person has ever stood for, and that quite possibly Obama and that person do not agree on most issues. This does not always happen, but it does happen frequently.

Thanks OOS for the clarification....we also had alot of disagreements while commin up with a new constitution...with most christians not likin an abortion clause sayin it allowed it...but people were like...its the church's responsibility to teach gud morals to their flock...hence their would be no need for girls to go ahead an abort...

I have never heard that people who disagree are racist. Then again, I'm from here. I have no idea what the rest of America REALLY thinks.

I can't say I've heard too mna y racist comments from republicans. They just brought us conscription and the income tax.

Our current vice president has made a few good ones though. He described Obama as the first clean and articulate mainstream African American. He has also stereotyped Indian Indians from India as owning convenience stores.

Joe, you may not here it as much there, but you still here it some here. Jimmy Carter was of the big ones declaring racism back in 2009. Yes I know that is a few years ago, but what he said still lingers.

Nkatty, it doesn't really work that way. If you increase the tax burden on the business owners, they have less money and incentive to hire people and expand their business, which mostly hurts their employees. Employees get laid off, which means spending drops, which means more businesses close, which means that more people get laid off. Currently over half of the United States doesn't pay a penny of the tax burden, yet we all receive benefits from the government.

As far as spending goes, the US just broke its 14.3 trillion dollar debt ceiling yesterday. People like to say that Obama inherited a lot of problems from Bush, but that doesn't excuse stupid-high levels of spending. Obama's spending makes Bush's spending look like a little kid spending his dad's spare change in comparison. What's Obama's solution to reaching the debt limit? Is it to cut back? No. He's trying to figure out a way to raise it. Every hour of every day in 2011, our government is spending $188 million it doesn't have, $130 million of which is borrowed from itself. That's ridiculous. Budget cuts have to be made in a massive way, and while Republicans won't be great about it, Democrats are far, far worse.

As far as racism goes, there are racist Republicans, but there are also racist Democrats. Race is an easy thing to go to for people who can't debate. For example, if you support the government enforcing its immigration laws, you get called a racist.
