Posted : 21 Apr, 2011 04:38 PM Ladies with strong personalities such as who knows what she wants and agressivley goes after it whether in the work place or in relationships. A woman�s physical attractiveness, her character, her demeanor, her attainment � all of that can be daunting to a man who considers such an appealing woman out of his league. Do men view it as �chew �em up and spit �em out� attitude. How does this compare to a proverbs 31 woman? What do you think guys and girls? Post Reply

A lot of men seem to have different preferences. Some men are intimidated by slightly stronger women, and some men don't like it when women are too shy/submissive. Perhaps they'd want someone smack dab between sassy and sweet. I'm totally interested to see the guy's opinions, but they'll probably vary from person to person. Post Reply

With the horse training I compete with guys and gals everyday all day. So when it comes to a relationship the last thing I need is a woman constantly trying to prove she is better than me, what I need is a partner; someone I can let down and relax with. However it has been my experience most women take a great deal of pride in their Genesis curse. Post Reply

Strength is in the eye of the beholder. One person may see strength in a woman who says what she wants boldly. I may see her as being weak and mouthy. My preference in a wife would be a woman who doesn't seek attention from the world. Some men like the Big Mouths. I don't. Post Reply

Posted : 21 Apr, 2011 08:02 PM While I don't consider myself at all to have a "strong" personality- being controlling, aggressive, manipulative, or bossy- I do consider myself to be a strong woman. Not to go into specifics, but I've endured some painful trials in my life ... including the loss of my father- my other sisters had husbands to lean on and gain strength from; I walked through that with only God for my comfort. Also, I've read the posts of many of the female members here who have endured great pain in their lives. Their strength as women is inspiring to me too. I really don't understand why Christian men often speak against women who have strength and an independent personality. I don't know what my future holds- I may remain single for the rest of my life- I need to have that strength and independence to continue to live my life alone of that's what God has for me. I love to do things for others to make them happy. But, if she doesn�t tell you what she wants, I won�t know how to please her. Like Two said, we have to put up with enough competitiveness throughout the day, it�s would be nice to find someone who you don�t have to compete with when you come home, or spend endless hours trying to figure out what makes her happy.
