CAN YOU KISS?--BE HONEST!

Can you kiss before marriage?

I don't see anything in the bible that specifically addresses it one way or the other.

I'll be honest and say I used to kiss while dating, but I don't think I can now, even if I wanted to.

Pre-marital kissing? Good, bad, indifferent?

I was curious about this myself. I don't really think a peck on the cheek or a small kiss would hurt, however I think making out is for married people. It's because at that stage it's easy to stumble. You need to keep a certain amount of distance from the other person in the relationship if you don't want to be tempted, or even stumble.

Two I asked one of my nineteen year old son's female friends, do you know how you check a horse's teeth? She said no and I said I will show you and rolled back her upper and lower lip, lol.

Whether or not you can kiss really is up to the individual. I dont think you can find any explicit commands against it in the Bible, but, if it will temp you to go further, then you should stay away from it. There are people who have kissed plenty of times before, and it really doesnt mean much to them. And then there are those who struggle with the temptation for something more when they do kiss.

I dont think that there is a hard set rule, but there is nothing wrong with waiting, as long as you both agree on it.

Cobbler, thank you for taking this post serious. I appreciate everything you said.

I wonder though if the man says he wants to wait until marriage to kiss but the woman wants to kiss now, should the man compromise or whatever. Hmmm.

Anyway, thanks!
