Don't know about others, but nicknames are important in the black community. Most rappers use their nicknames as their rapper name. Before a child is born the parents already have prepared a nickname for them. I was pregnant witth my 3rd child and told ppl I was naming her Nadja. The question was always, what will you call her? Her dad, when he came to visit after each baby was born, would give each baby a nick name that has stuck with each of us. No, I'm not telling what they are. My former husband had a nick name for me also. And, um, ..... no, I'm not telling that one, either. I probably shouldn't have even answered this one - lol :laugh: Post Reply

I'm his" BIG little sister" and he's my "little BIG brother" lol of course in the 80's everyone teased me and called me by my initials due to the popular tv show ALF LOL Post Reply
