Is it possible to be IN LOVE with 2 people at the same time?

Truly in love, where you are willing to give your life for them? Not likely, it takes too much work to be truly in love with more than one.

Absolutely fascinated with more than one person, sure, especially if you are just starting to get to know each other.

I can't speak for everyone, but I know I couldn't be. Being IN LOVE is a huge big deal and there's no way I could feel that way about two people at the same time.

I love many many people, but being IN LOVE is totally different, for me anyway. :)

I'm in agreement with everyone so far. I don't think it's possible to be in love with more than one person at a time. Can I love more than one person? Like Tandy said, yes, but it's different from being in love.

If you are not sure who you are more attracted, give it time to get to know both women, before you make your decis

Some things to consider are:

1. Do you tend to be drawn more to one particular person in conversation, texting, e-mail, etc...

2. How do your core beliefs line up?

3. Do you have similar values?

4. Are your goals compatible?

I know this verse is not dealing with this situation, but for some reason it kept running through my mind while reading our question.

No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other ..." Matt 6:24

I agree with Cobbler and the others. Truly, madly, deeply in love? Not with two people at the same time, no.

I too agree with those who've already spoken...

While you can love more than one person at a time... there is a depth involved when you are IN love that takes all you have and all you are an places that emotion and effort in another person. If you put all of that into another person... what would you have left to put into a second? there would be nothing left...

to respond in a very worldly way.....

I can't seem to find one person to fall madly and deeply in love with. Thinking the possibility of finding two simultaneously rather defies the odds.

That being said..the previous responses from the others are spot on.

That is the number one reason relationships don't work. People are in love with two people at once - their significant other and themselves.
