I know this isn't what you mean, but your statement implies that if a woman isn't a beauty queen, she's a plain jane. There's a lot of middle ground there - a woman can be quite lovely yet not Drop! View Profile History	Beauty Queen Posted : 9 Jan, 2011 05:28 PM Well, if a guy could get anything he wants, I would say that we would all like a �low maintenance� beauty queen. A really beautiful woman (beautiful in our eyes) without the stereotypical �attitude� that comes along with it. Personally for me, I am getting to the point where I tend to find the more �plain janes� attractive. My biggest hang up is that I prefer the very slender women, who are hard to find near my age. As with any movement, people always seem to push things too far. It is not healthy for most women to be a size zero. So, people have pushed back against being very slender and excuse being overweight as �healthy�. Further, they try to excuse their weight by saying that it�s just the way God made them, it�s their body type. I for one know that keeping weight off is not easy, but I am also very quick to admit that I am overweight and this is not how God made me. A woman who has a healthy weight (By medical standards) and appreciates her body the way God made it is way more attractive than a really beautiful woman with body issues. I also find it rude to paint physically attractive women with such broad strokes. They're too into themselves? If I said that plain women were better because they're more desperate for a man, I'd have both guys and girls jumping down my throat. Making assumptions about women based entirely on their physical looks, either attractive or unattractive, is just not Christ-like at all. Not only that, but do you understand how ridiculous the statement, "I like her, but I just can't date her. She's too pretty," sounds? Post Reply
