1. Would you want your mother (or someone else whose cooking you like) to give your future wife cooking lessons?

Nope, that always seemed like it would be a little condescending or something. If my wife's cooking was REALLY bad and I was dying of starvation, maybe then, but anyone's help would probably be appreciated by that point.

2. Would you want to be with your wife while she is giving birth, or would you sit out in the waiting room?

I don't really want children, but if it happened I'd be as supporting as possible.

3. Do you like nail-polish on women's nails? Are there any nail-polish colors that bother you?

Not really, and anything that calls attention to the nails...like black, or RED...really bright or strange colors kinda throw me off. "Really? Nails? Why?"

4. Would you paint your wife's toenails if she can't because she has a big baby belly or is old and can't bend that way anymore?

Sure.

5. Would you ever wear a kilt?

Depends on how much money I was getting paid.

6. What is your favorite kind of pie?

Strawberry.

7. How frequently would you do devotions/Bible teaching with your family?

As much as possible with children. I'd leave it up to my wife and I if it was just the two of us.

8. How often do you change your sheets?

Once a week.

9. How old is your computer?

PC is 6 years old, but upgraded recently. Laptop is 3 years old. And I use them both a lot.

That's interesting about the cooking lessons, Mark. I hadn't thought of it that way, but suppose that some women would find that condescending. Personally, I would LOVE some premarital cooking lessons, especially from someone whose cooking my husband-to-be enjoyed. If my future mother-in-law invited me to stay with her for a week and learn how to become an expert at cooking/baking all of her son's favourite things, I would be seriously excited. But maybe I'm just weird =P

1. Would you want your mother (or someone else whose cooking you like) to give your future wife cooking lessons?

Well at lot of people in general anymore do not seem to cook, so might not be a bad idea. Of course I like to cook and bake so maybe I can be the cook or give lessons.

2. Would you want to be with your wife while she is giving birth, or would you sit out in the waiting room?

While I'm still on the fence about kids, if we did have one, and as someone who is in paramedic school at the moment, I want to be in the room and help deliver the child, cut the cord, etc.

3. Do you like nailpolish on women's nails? Are there any nailpolish colours that bother you?

Nailpolish in general doesn't bother me except for when it is half of, then it just looks bad.

4. Would you paint your wife's toenails if she can't because she has a big baby belly or is old and can't bend that way anymore?

Possibly, it's something she would enjoy, and if she is willing to do guy things I like, I should be willing to do things she likes.

5. Would you ever wear a kilt?

Well I did live in Scotland for a year, but never wore a kilt, I might be willing to though.

6. What is your favourite kind of pie?

Thats a tough one, pumpkin, apple or cherry. (my grandmothers were the best!)

7. How frequently would you do devotions/Bible teaching with your family?

Once a week would be good.

8. How often do you change your sheets?

Once a week, though more is better, I love that first night of freshly washed sheets.

9. How old is your computer?

Two years old.

Hi, pixy!!! :waving:

Here are my answers to these new "pixy-lating" ponderings!!!:ROFL::ROFL:

1) If she didn't know how to make some of my BAREFOOT FAVORITE meals and desserts and was barefoot comfortable with having someone else teach her so she could express her barefoot love for me in the things she cooks and bakes for me, pixy!!! :hearts::hearts::hearts:

2) I'd want to be with my wife while she's giving birth if she wanted me to be with her.

3) Yes, I LOVE, LOVE, BAREFOOT LOVE nail polish on a woman's nails, especially shades of PURPLE!!! :yay::yay::yay: BUT ... I don't like BLACK nail polish on a gal's nails ... or orange or brown, come to think of it ... but blue and green are OK for variety, sometimes ... but for most occasions I prefer to barefoot enjoy seeing a "barefoot gal" wear shades of purple, red and pink nail polish on her fingers and toes, pixy!!! :dancingp::dancingp::dancingp::rocknroll::rocknroll::rocknroll:

4) Of course I'd paint my wife's toenails, bein' a "FOOT guy" and lovin' to LOVE, LOVE, BAREFOOT LOVE my gal's feet in every way I can to barefoot bless and express my love to her through Physical Touch, pixy!!! :hearts::hearts::hearts:

5) I'd only wear a kilt as a "sexual fantasy come true" in private for my wife!!! ( that'd be a "Hoot, mon"!!!!):ROFL::ROFL::rocknroll::rocknroll::rocknroll:

6) My favorite kind of pie is chocolate cream pie!!! Yummmmmm, Yummmmmm, Barefoot Yummmmmmm!!!! ... and THEN some!!!! :dancingp::dancingp::dancingp: A chocolate pie ALWAYS sets my "pickle" to dancin'!!!:laugh::laugh: ... next I LOVE, LOVE, BAREFOOT LOVE Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream topping!!! :bouncy::bouncy::bouncy: ... can ya tell the MERE thought of these gets this Barefoot Guy To Love BAREFOOT EXCITED?!!!!:ROFL::ROFL:

7) I'd do devotions/Bible Study with my family at least once a day.

8) Whenever the "Spirit" moves me!!! "Hey, Steve, it's time to change those sheets!!!" :goofball::rolleyes:

9) My laptop is about a year old; my desktop is about 5 or 6 years old

Love,

Steve

1. Would you want your mother (or someone else whose cooking you like) to give your future wife cooking lessons?

I'm fine with nail polish but I don't think black is the best color...

4. Would you paint your wife's toenails if she can't because she has a big baby belly or is old and can't bend that way anymore?

I'm wondering why so many of you are down on black nailpolish... It's what I'm wearing right now and I like it =)

I'd rather have a gal wear NO nail polish than wear black, pixy, because, I think, to me, it reminds me of witches and all of the black things they wear and of "black magic" evil things etc ... and I just don't want the gal I love or am interested in to remind me of those things in our world!!! But rather to wear nail polish that reminds of happy, joyous and Godly colors in His Creation ... you know they say "black" isn't really a color, but the "absence of color", I've read before ... anyway, so I think THIS is the main reason why I don't like BLACK nail polish on a gal, pixy ... but you should wear what YOU like for just yourself to enjoy ... there are probably Christian guys out there too who wouldn't mind, even LOVE having you wear black nail polish.

Speaking of witches ... I can't tell ya how much I HATE that so many people in the world buy into the idea of there being such a thing as a "good witch" and a "bad witch", even though I enjoy the movie "The Wizard of Oz" and similar movies as "a willing suspension of disbelief" (as they call fantasies), because we know as God's children this teaching is totally false and un-Biblical ... Walt Disney didn't help anyone promoting this falsehood for entertainment purposes either, sadly ... I LOVE DISNEY FILMS, but the ones that ask you to imagine there can be such a thing as a "good witch" and a "bad witch" I wish they never made!!! How 'bout you?

Love,

Steve

1. Would you want your mother (or someone else whose cooking you like) to give your future wife cooking lessons?

If my future wife said the need aloud and my mom volunteered, then I would be ok with it. Basically if they worked it out among themselves, no problem.

2. Would you want to be with your wife while she is giving birth, or would you sit out in the waiting room?

I'd like to be there to help her make it through.

3. Do you like nailpolish on women's nails? Are there any nailpolish colours that bother you?

Yes, I like nailpolish. Nope, none, although the whole uber-cute glittery jr. high look isn't really a big thrill. Black nailpolish is rockin' in my book.

4. Would you paint your wife's toenails if she can't because she has a big baby belly or is old and can't bend that way anymore?

Yes.

5. Would you ever wear a kilt?

I might. I'm part Scottish, so I guess I probably would have to at some point.

6. What is your favourite kind of pie?

I'm not much of a pie person, but generally hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream, or cherry pie are my favorites. Rhubarb pie is also very good, but I haven't had it much.

7. How frequently would you do devotions/Bible teaching with your family?

Daily.

8. How often do you change your sheets?

Uhm, I'm not saying.

9. How old is your computer?

The newest computer in my family is 4 years old. The oldest is 21 years old.

Not a pie person? Oh my goodness... ! But at least you like black nailpolish =)

I LOVE pie! I actually won this pie cookbook over the summer and I need to try out a recipe from it. I've never baked a pie before and it intimidates me slightly. The cookbook is so cute, though. It has all of these vintage illustrations in it.

As for witches, I think they are real and satanic. Therefore, I don't believe that they should be portrayed as something fun or fanciful. We shouldn't sugar coat that which is evil. That said, I used to love watching Bewitched when I was growing up. I somehow didn't connect her (Samantha?) with the ones dressed in black who did wicked things. And I have no problem really with fantasy, but I think we do have to be careful with it, especially when we present it to children who are still developing.
